Which 2 teams will play in the NBA Finals?
1. Jazz and Cavaliers
2. Jazz and Pistons
3. Spurs and Cavaliers
4. Spurs and Pistons
I'm going with #3. The Cavaliers I believe have the talent to eliminate the Pistons.

Jazz and Pistons
I think that the Suns/Spurs match up was the Championship.
With the Suns getting scr3w3d over.

It wont be the Jazz in the west. Spurs will win it all. I am a Cavs fan all the way but I dont think they will beat Pistons 2 out of the next 3. If they had home court, maybe. But not going to Detroit 2 out of 3. The Cavs are a player away from winning it all and a little young. Either way, the Spurs will beat either east team. I would love the Cavs and Spurs with Cavs winning it all but not this year.

I think it will be Spurs and Detroit...even though I woudl rather have the Cavaliers in it because both the Pistons and Spurs play boring ball....of course rooting for a Cleveland team in any way makes me a little ill.
Pistons-Spurs. Cleveland is riding the momentum roller coaster, but that ride is about to come to an end.
I will puke if the Spurs win, again. Has anyone noticed ALL the calls going there way? Game 4 in Utah was a joke and it seems like the NBA is keeping San Antonio as their poster boys.
Probably that whole image thing...

You have got to be kidding me.... The Spurs are far from the poster boys of the NBA. They are what most people would call a great team. The Suns and the Mavericks are the poster teams for the NBA they were both flashy with high scoring offenses. Why in the world would the spurs, a dominant defencive team, be the poster team for the NBA when most people consider them a boring team to watch? Even in the conference finals they couldn't sell out their home court.
Any way did anybody else watch game 5? Best game of the play offs so far so freakin happy the Cavs won and more importantly Lebron 29 of the last 30 points in 2 OT so I don't have to listen to all the critcs tommorrow claim he's not clutch or not the man. Great game can't wait to see Lebron and the Cavs in the finals where I think they have a shot, they went 2-0 against the Spurs in regular season and anybody who says "Who cares it's the post season now" just remember Dallas.

If you think the Suns are the poster boys of the NBA, you obviously did not watch RD 2 when they faced the Spurs.
Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli and Tony Parker are who the Association want to model their players around. Just because you're flashy does not mean the NBA will love you...Just look at Allen Iverson, who couldn't get a bid to the American Olympic team until Shaq voiced his discontent.
Tim Duncan can't get in trouble. He got a referee suspended indefinately when any other player would be facing suspension in that same scenario. He left the bench worse and further than Amare and Diaw COMBINED in game 3, but didn't get tagged with a thing. He cries and complains all the time, especially after they lose. He gets all the calls. . . And he gets rewarded for it.
Fact of the matter, they want to berid themselves of this bad boy image, and the Spurs will, therefore, get all the benefit.
Remember, Kobe got a suspension for elbowing players, Bowen gets to play on no matter how dirty he plays.

Ok now I know you have to be kidding he didn't get a ref suspended the ref made a stupid call. You don't eject a teams star player for laughing on the bench for a foul, thats ridiculous.
Also, Tim Duncan left the bench but it wasn't during an altercation. I saw the entire Spurs Suns serie and I know what you're talking about, he would've only gotten suspended if he left the bench during an altercation and there was none a Sun's player fell on top of a Spurs player and that was it neither started anything over it.
Yeah star flashy players don't become the poster anything for the NBA but teams do. Steve Nash is a likeable talented guy and they have a high powered flashy offence that makes everybody want to watch their games that's why they are the poster team. The NBA wouldn't want a Spurs team to be the poster child because they are mostly considered a boring defencive team that whines a lot about everything. Then again I don't think who the NBA wants to win over all has any bearing on the calls especially in that Jazz Spurs series. The Spurs are too good and if you think they won because of a few calls you're nuts.
And the whole Bowen thing I think that has more to do with the respect he has from coaches and the fact that great defencive players like him are a little dirty and do do things to get on your nerves and mess with your game. I think he did that in that series but the leagues had no proof of intent it wasn't like what Horry did so he got away with it. I saw when he kicked Omari and kneed Nash and while I think he did it intentionally to look at what happens there is nothing that jumps out at you to say that he did it to harm them.
I mean come on why would the NBA want a possible finals game to be between two defencive teams like the Pistons and the Spurs which before yestarday everybody said would end up in the finals? When it comes down to it the NBA would want what's best for ratings and two defencive teams aren't good for ratings.
