How many total picks we got?

Hi guys,

Do you know exactly how many picks we have total this coming draft?

I believe this is the first year Lewis goes shopping with extra picks.

I think it would help better to figure out who we can pick with our first pick if we can figure out who we can pick with our other picks and how many picks we have.

Also the position of those picks would help. Someone pointed out for example that we would not be 9th in the second round but we would be at the bottom of the 7-9 teams that round.

We had several extra picks in the 2004 draft as well.

As of right now, I know we have at least 6 picks. Did we give up a 7 for Fitzpatrick? I don't remember for sure. We will likely get a 3rd round comp pick for Steinbach. We may also get comp picks for Kevin K, and maybe 1 for Tony Stewart (although I doubt that). SO we will have at least 7 picks and possibly as many as 10. My best guess would be:

1 in R1, 1 in R2, 2 in R3, 1 in R4, 2 in R5, and 1 in R6. (or 1 in 5 and 2 in 6.)

We pick 15th in round 2 (46 overall).

We pick 14th in round 3

We pick 13th in round 4

We pick 12th in round 5

We pick 11th in round 6

We do not have a 7th round pick.

This does not include any of the supplemental draft picks for Steinbach, Kevin K or maybe Stewart.

We've got 6 team picks as of right now, we gave up our 7th for Fitz. We've got a some RFAs that could intrigue other teams because they'd only have to give up low round picks. Fitz and Fanene would bring us a 7th. Tab and Lawrie could net us a 6th. Kieft is an RFA, but I'm not anticipating anything for him because he was a 5th rounder and no one has seen anything from him except that he's injury ridden.
