1. Leon Hall CB Mich
Got burned often early, but in the second half of the season was outstanding. Tied the team rookie rercord with 5 INTs, and is already one of the best tacklers on the entire team.
Grade: A-
2. Kenny Irons RB Auburn
Was injured in his first pre-season game. Showed potential in camp however. It's a shame too, Rudy Johnson was not himself, and Chris Perry went from PUP to IR, and Kenny could have contributed.
Grade: Incomplete
4. Marvin White S TCU
Showed some promise early, and played well late in the season. Has a reputation as a big hitter, and contributed on Teams.
Grade: C+
5. Jeff Rowe QB Nevada
Wasted pick. Never played a regular season snap, and was the #3 QB. Although he looked good at times during the pre-season, but played against a lotr of guys who didn't even make teams.
Grade:D
6. Matt Toenia DT ??
Looked good in training camp and showed flashes in the preseason. He was on the practice squad for several weeks until signed by the Bears.
Grade Incomplete
7. Chinedume Ndukwe S ND
They liked this kid from the start, and played extremely well late in the season. In the last 2 games he had 2 INTs and returned a fumble 56 yards for a TD. Could replace Dexter Jackson sooner than later.
Grade:A
Overall Grade C, but with promise.
What do you think?

I think you pretty much nailed it. Leon did get burned, but all rookie corners do. He's a solid, physical player and I believe he'll develop into one of the better corners in the NFL soon.

Pretty right on IMO, Leon Hall was a steal where he got picked.

Fair assesment with Hall. No rookie corner comes in and makes an immediate impact. He's going to make rookie mistakes and that's what he did. Then he settled down and started to get use to the pro system and improved. Hopefully there will be no sophomore slump with him because he's got a great looking future.

You have to remember though that every corner in the NFL these days with the rules etc gets burned. Champ, Deangelo Hall, Rashaen Mathis, EVERYONE.

BTW, I forgot Dan Santucci. But I believe he was on the PS all year, and would receive a grade of Incomplete, and would not change the overall grade.

Well yeah, the league seems to be instituting more rules to make every offense powerful, but Hall had his flaws. He had his games where he got turned around. I'm just saying that no rookie corner comes in and does well. Some fans have to be level headed and realize that you're not going to get Pro Bowl stats out of rookie CBs. There were some Jets fans up here calling for Revis' head because he was playing badly, suddenly he did good and they're in love with him.

Oh i agree, just saying that because i get sick of people calling for a player to be cut or traded and chants of overrated because a guy gets beat once.

He was on the 53 man roster all year, but he was usually deactivated. He played on ST in a couple of games. I was at the Seattle game and saw him on KR.

Agreed. Champ Bailey got burned numerous times his rookie year. No rookie is perfect at first, that's why they're rookies. You need to give them 2-3 years to really settle in.

I'd give a B- myself. Ndukwe in the 7th was a steal and finally we have back to back drafts where our #1 (Joseph & Hall) actually PANNED OUT!!!
