If we can't get one of the following Dorsey - Ellis - C. Long - Gholston in the first round i think we should trade down and get more picks.:tiger:

I totally agree, and with the 1st round pick we'd get we could go for Keith Rivers, I like his style.

I really doubt the Pats would take Ellis, they already have the best 3-4 NT in the game right now. They are much more likely to nab Gholston, but I can't see them passing up the drafts best CB. G.ay and Hobbs as starters would make me a bit ansy if I am Pees and Bellichick

I completely forgot about Wilfork when making that. I just wanted to set up a mock where we draft Gholston :-\

However, I do believe that this is still a real possibility because if their two ILBs do, in fact, retire, they could just go to a 4-3 and that way not have to risk trying to move a DE to OLB and shift Vrabel to ILB.

However, if they go with Gholston as opposed to Ellis, they'll still have great talent to use, and we'll still get a great man on the defensive line.

Billicheck seems to be like Parcells in that he is all about the 3-4 under any circumstance.

I know the Pats did actually play some 4-3 this past season but I just dont see them switching over completely. Maybe i'll be proved wrong though.

Ali I'm a UK boy just like you and I've got to say I'm starting to see Woodson slipping to the second round. I hope he lights it up at the combine, and moves his stock back up. As far as Gholston I like the pick, but if we do end up switching to a 3-4 then I think he plays OLB. Either way I like your mock, I just hope Ellis falls to us.

You are going to have to take Deshean Jackson out of the top 10. I read he weighted in at a very small 167 lbs. That iw way to small for teams to get by the durability issures. Unless he bulks up some for his pro day, he might drop completely out of the first round.
