First mock draft ever...let me know what you think

1) Ellis DT USC: great talent, great player, by far the BPA at number 9 if he is still there
2) Jackson DE USC or Groves: hopefully one of these two DE are still here at this pick...should help with the pass rush
3)red bryant: DT i know three dlinemen with the first three picks...well we desperatly need some fresh talent on it...and bryant has the size to impress...if bryant is gone i would grab crabble next then get okam with our second third round pick
3) shawn crabble: LB UM: great size, good nose for the ball and can get to the qb
4)Brad Cotton: TE great size 6'7 big target for the qb in the redzone
5)cheviz jackson: CB LSU: o'neal is only here one more year...this way it gives someone a year to learn the system then step in and take over the nickle spot...good size and strenght at cb not too mention great experience at one of the premier defensive schools
6)arrington UM WR the other michigan reciever...good size and speed could be a great fourth reciever
7)Jerremy Zuttah: OL a versitile undersized lineman could be moved to center and with time could be a decent starter

i would be very pleased with this draft and since we just franchised andrews i see no need to draft oline early...i think we will resign madieu, dhani jones...and hopefully landon johnson...i would still like the bengals to pick up a veteran DT or DE but i don't see us getting a lot of help that way

I like Ellis, Jackson, and Arrington. THe rest I wouldn't complain about either although I really don't see Crable fitting into a 43 defense, but he'd be very good value at that point.

I just can't take it seriously when people put Ellis at 9 anymore. No way he falls half that far. If I'm wrong, quote me, make fun of me for the rest of my life, I don't care. Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled to see him there, but I think we as Bengal fans must move on and accept the fact that he won't be our first-rounder. Sorry to rain on the parade guys :p
