(I'm basing this on the fact that Long, Dorsey, Gholston, and Ellis are all gone. We trade out of the 9 slot with Buffalo and take their 12 slot and their 3rd round pick).

1. Phillip Merling/DE/Clemson
2. Pat Sims/DT/Auburn
3. Tavares Gooden/LB/Miami
3. Patrick Lee/CB/Auburn
3. Jason Jones/DE/Eastern Michigan
4. Jacob Tamme/TE/Kentucky
5. Andre Caldwell/WR/Florida
6. Quentin Demps/S/UTEP
6. Kerry Brown/OG/App. St.
7. Jacob Hester/FB/LSU

-Again, my first shot. I am sure I don't have some guys slotted right, but it's late, and I was bored.

Very good, only guy I'm not a fan of is Tamme, if JerMichael Finley or Dustin Keller is still there I'd really prefer one of them, I also highly doubt Caldwell will last that long, he's projected as more of a 2nd rounder, one last thing is you might consider going OL earlier.

Merling and Sims are really on the upside and have all the physical abilities you can ask for. Gooden and Lee weren't real productive in college, but could be developed into starting quality players.

Jason Jones will be a steal and I put him in all of my mocks although he's awful similar to Merling so I might go for more of a pass rusher.

Overall though I'd be thrilled with this draft and it does wonders for our depth.

Great mock! Might want to trade out your second DE for a DT, but I'd love for our draft to be like that!

I doubt Sims lasts that long, but that would be a good draft.

I doubt Sims lasts that long, but that would be a good draft.

True, he is shooting up the boards, but I am an Auburn guy and figured if Groves wasn't there, then go with Sims. As far as Caldwell, I was using nfldraftcountdown.com as a resource as my source. They had him slotted as a mid-rounder, but their scouting may be a little old.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Not bad, I just sure hope Gholston or Ellis can somehow fall to us, I might even taks Rivers over Phillips. But good job otherwise:thumbsup:
