DO NOT SEE THE MOVIE BUG
Please do not see this movie, I just came back from it and I am telling you this right now, if you are even thinking about seeing this movie, buy another ticket or go rent a movie.
I demanded a refund...
Either tomorrow or Sunday I'll put the Squad Review on this movie Bug and 28 Weeks Later.
DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!

I'm surprised that you actually paid to see it. It looked horrible from all the ads and trailers I've seen of it.

Does anyone know if the new Pirates of the Carribean is any good?

I heard it was like Spider-Man 3 and a lackluster from about 10 of my friends.

That's good to know. I wasted $7.00 on Spiderman 3. Man, what was the last really good movie to come out? I can't think of any this past year.

Night of the Museum to me probably was the best movie that came out and that was Christmas time?

Well..good movies...
Some recent ones(I'll go from the New Year til now) I guess would be Night at the Muesaem, ....I thought I could make a longer list. Wow.
Currently, you could see Shrek 3, Pirates of the Carriabean, or Spiderman 3. Even though those are the well known movies, all aren't as good as many hoped.
For the Summer, it looks about the same. Some of the more known ones are Evan Almighty, Surf's Up, Ratatouliee, The Simpsons Movie, Harry Potter 5, and Transformers. Of those, the only one that looks to be really good is the Simpsons movie.

Pirates 3 was no better than the 2nd one which I thought was a pointless waste of time. Shrek 3 was good but not really worth anything more than a rental. Spiderman 3 was comical at best and they introduced way to many characters that really had no point in the movie.
None of those were worth the $10 ticket price they charged me.

there are a lot of movies that are coming out that I think will be really good
Live Free or Die hard
Hostel Part II
The Strangers
WAR
Halloween (Remake)
The Simpsons
Mr. Brooks
Those are the movies I am looking foward to.

I agree I'm not much of a critic, but Shrek 3 was kinda boring, Dead Mans Chest is so long I'm going to wait until rental, and Spiderman has never been my favorite and it looks so bad.

Pirates was good....it was much better than the 2nd one which tried too hard in making jonny depp out to be too funny...this one was much better than the second but still not as good as the first

I think that last really great movie I saw was The Departed. This was by far the best movie I can remember seeing in a long time. Also, Flags of Our Fathers. I am looking forward to seeing Letters from Iwa Jima.

I had no real intention of seeing bug, but thankfully i looked at this thread so I have verification.
Unfortunately, my girlfriend has the Horror-movie bug (no pun intended), and I am forced to see some of these really crappy ones from time to time.

The last two movies that I saw that were really worth the price of admission were 300 and Black Snake Moan (Comes to DVD at the end of June)
Fracture was a good movie too, but not spectacular

ah!!! I forgot about 300, 300 hands down was the best movie of this year.

I can confirm that Shrek the Third was not worth seeing in the theater. They were trying to hard, but, at the same time, did not come close to recahing the potential that it had.
