View Full Version : Trouble getting my avator working

I can't seem to get it going and i see the size needs to be 100 by 100 and then i go and resize it at imageshack and it wont work.Any suggestions

You need to save the picture to a folder on your computer such as "Pictures". Go to "My Pictures", right click on the item and hit "Edit", on the edit screen, click on "Image", then choose the "Stretch/Skew" option. From there you can make the necessary adjustments to your avatar. Ex. if you select the picture and then try to download it, and you get the response, must be 100x100, and your pic is 110x115, then you need to reduce your horizontal by 10, and your verticle by 15. I hope this helps you.

The avatar actually has to be 80x80. That's probably why you're having problems. You can't just resize it using photobucket. What you can do is save the image from photobucket to your pc, resize it to 80x80 with microsoft photo editor or something, then upload it back to photobucket.

That is what I did...

If it helps anyone, I was able to get mine in at 90X90.

You're right, it does state you can use upto 100x100 for the avatar. I just know when I tired it failed for me, so I had to reduce it to 80x80.

Maybe they fixed it, or maybe I just messed it up the first time I tried. Who knows...
