Brandon Flowers did not perform well at the combine, he isn't even a top 3 CB right now. McKelvin, Jenkins or Talib will be the first CB taken.
Miami- Vernon Gholston
Rams- Chris Long
Falcons- Matt Ryan
Raiders- Sederick Ellis
Chiefs- Jake Long
Jets- Darren McFadden
Pats- Mike Jenkins
Ravens- Ryan Clady/ Leodis McKelvin
Bengals- Glenn Dorsey

yes, but before the combine many experts had him going in the first 6, if not, then any other CB

I haven't ever seen Flowers ahead of McKelvin, but he was good in college, either way, he took himself out of the debate for top CB for now and unless he can run a lot faster at his pro day then he won't even be a consideration.

The Pats really liked their interview with McKelvin at the Combine and will need a cover CB to replace Assante Samuel. The Ravens are more likely to go with a pass rusher, QB, or Tackle to replace Ogden (either now or later). I'd say it'll look like this:
Dolphins-C Long
Rams- J Long
Atlanta-D McFadden
Raiders-S Ellis/Dorsey (Probably Ellis at this point)
Cheifs-R Clady
Jets-V Gholston
Patriots-L McKelvin
Ravens-M Ryan
Bengals- Ellis/Dorsey (Probably Dorsey at this point)

I don't see Rodgers-Cromartie going before Talib, Talib was a play maker in the Big 12 and the only question about him was speed, but he showed that it isn't a problem running in the 4.4 range.

I agree that Talib is up there, but DRC beat him in almost every category at the combine and looked much more fluid in the drills. Talib almost tripped on his shorts a couple of times and looked very off-balance going backwards. I don't think he reassured many people in the drills despite his 40 time.

I dont know how you see Jake Long falling to the fifth pick. And the Ravens can pick Brohm in the 2nd rd. Dorsey would be a great pick for us, if he's healthy, which at this point, a lot of people doubt it.

Still, the fact that Talib got it done against top level competition in the Big 12 is going to count for more than work out numbers, or it should at least.

I like the trade with dallas. It might work for us.
But why would the Pats pick dorsey??...they dont need him.
and as I said earlier, I dont think that J Long will fall to the 5th pick.

I doubt it. Wilfork is still very young. But who knows, maybe they see something wrong with him and want to replace him with Dorsey.
I really doubt it, but who knows?

With Turner signing with Atlanta, They'll go after Ryan. The Dolphins want a QB, but could probably get a good prospect in the 2nd considering their position. I could see the Raiders trading with the Cowboys rather than draft McFadden as they've got Fargas and a healthy Michael Bush now. Here's how I see it.
Dolphins-C.Long (get stuck with the first pick)
Rams- J.Long (need OL bad and also trying to get Jacob Bell G)
Falcons- Ryan (Biggest offensive need left)
Raiders- trade (McFadden is the pick)
Kansas City- Clady (need OL almost as bad as Rams)
Jets-Gholston (Falls into their laps)
Patriots-McKelvin or Talib (With Samuel and *** gone, a definite need)
Ravens-Brohm (McNair and Boller 'nuff said)
Bengals-Ellis (The player I want the most)
Saints-Dorsey (a natural from LSU for their 4-3 since they've got good ends and just signed ***)
This gets easier with free agency.

If this is the way it goes down(and it could quite possibly), can we dare pass on Darren McFadden? I WOULD CERTAINLY HOPE NOT! THAT WOULD BE A TRAVESTY!!!!! If the Bengals get the opportunity to take this guy, they better jump all over him like a fat kid on CAKE! Send that to all the Brown's in the office and Marvin and his "draft squad". I think we are going to take a RB in the 3rd anyway, why not get the best RB in the draft when you can. It would be like Dillon/Maroney in NE in Maroney's rookie year. This gives us a running game "OUT OF THIS WORLD"!!!! I think this depends on the Raiders and Jets picks. STAY TUNED!!!!!
