I have a "lady friend" coming to town the beginning of October and I would love for her to be able to witness a Buckeyes game. I was wondering if anyone here had a good connection for tickets that would not cost me an arm and a couple of legs?

Yeah...ebay is my last resort...they tend to cost way more than I want to pay....I will pay stupid money for OSU vs. that team from up north but that is about it

i don't know of anywhere either. i always get my tickets through my job. i'm actually getting kind of worried because in years past they've put an article in the company news letter about them by now. i hope that i'll get a shot at some this year.

I got denied my alumni tickets this year, so it doesn't look like I'll be going. However I'd call a bunch of ticket brokers, it might yield some results. I know the games are all sold out though. You could always take a road trip to an away game.......just a thought.

you got that right. i've always been more of a fan of pro ball then college, but i must say the atmosphere is so much different at the shoe then pbs. there is nothing else in the world that comes close to gameday at the shoe.

I agree Turk, however if you can't find shoe tickets, then you might have to settle for watching a game elsewhere.

Yea, the ticket situation is messed up this year. Many alumni are getting hosed on their tickets. I read that for the 1st game, 400 alum that actually got tickets found the alumni band in their seats & had to stand in a line for over an hr to get reassigned, get a new game or a refund.
I dont know why the demand is sooo high given it is a down year (compared to last yr anyway) and the home schedule isnt the greatest either. Dont know if someone in the ticket office screwed things up this yr or what. I am supposed to have Wisc tickets & havent been bumped yet. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Yeah, I was one of the Alumni bumped. I was supposed to be going to Northwestern, but got kicked.
If you haven't heard by now that you're bumped, you should be fine.
As for why so many people are buying tickets. After how last year ended, people are rabid again. In some ways us losing to Florida the way we did was a good thing. It reignited the passion and fire in the Buckeye Nation.
In short...........Ladies and Gentlemen, the Buckeyes are hungry again, and woe to the NCAA team that gets in our way!

If you like uncomfortable seating and std infested bathrooms then by all means.

It's better than Michigan's STD infested cheerleaders and student body. Just like in the song Ann Arbor Girls have bad Disease's! :rotf:
