I was just curious because he closely challenges/if not wins in all of the major catagories with Peyton the last couple of years, but I only ever hear of Peyton going or being worthy of a first round pick. Why?

Probably has something to do with being thin on receivers with two Pro-bowlers missing on the oline, but I always go third or fourth on a QB.
Carson is usually gone around the 2nd or 3rd depending on what kind of homers are there.

I do a free game on yahoo. You have to put down a list of players you want and the CPU will draft for you if you don't show up. I picked 7 out 7, but my computer didn't work, but I had Carson as my #1 and I got him. Along with Chad, T.J., and Shayne as my kicker.

You have 4 Bengals on your fantasy team? You might regret that on the Bengals bye week.

I'd take that chance if the players were worth it. Why sacrifice talent for 1 week out of 13 or 14 regular season fantasy games? In fcat, you could argue it may be easier to deal with a majority of your starters off one week that each of your key starters off in a variety of games throughout the schedule.
As far as I'm concerned, just make sure your backups don't have the same bye week as the starters, so that you have enough starters to fill out your lineup in that week.
As for the question that started this thread, my own personal league is a keeper league, so he wasn't drafted. In the 8 team league I drafted in last night, however, I selected Palmer with the seventh pick of the 3rd round (23rd overall). I already had my starting running backs and felt 1) there were plenty of good receivers available, 2) Palmer might not be available 3 picks later when I get my 4th round selection. I might have reached a little early for him, but I really like the idea of having him in both leagues.
FWIW, Palmer was the second QB taken. Peyton was obviously the first, taken in the first round, 6th overall.
