I assume you guys have noticed how someone will post a reply and the reply comes before the post being replied to.

I finally noticed it last night, then saw a thread this morning where a reply showed up before the original post. Bizarre, indeed.

yea, i relayed the info to Andy....i have the same problem sometimes.....don't know whats causing it, it's as if the time is using the pc of the user instead of the server for the boards time.

That could be....my computer time as I submit this post is 12:43 CDT.....

Nope....not on my system anyways. The board's server time is 2 minutes behind mine and the time of my posts reflects that.

My last post in the Smack Forum was listed at 12:57PM. I looked at the clock on my PC and it read 1:03PM.

From what I read online it appears to be an issue around what OS you have the vbulletin software installed on and/or drifting date issues associated with the server clock.

The only other thing I could think of is if you guys are load balancing vbulletin across multiple servers maybe the clocks for the primary and secondary servers are not in sync...
