Ok, we have a thread that just says "Hello Columbus" and not many people swing by. Lets mount a battle to get this thing up and running. THE PUB has done there part... whoever is "in charge" of this thing, lets get some promoting of THE PUB and even this forum so we can increase numbers and have a great group of people to get to know and cheer our heads off.

its off of 62 in gahanna, right before you get on to 670, so you would probably take hamilton to granville make a left on granville and then at the second light make a left the a right at the stop sign and the pub is on you r left

interesting..... I liked last year when we had a whole table full of people. So, I always get there early and get a big table. No one sits with us anymore though. Everyone is in there own little "group" at the bar.

Maybe next time I will try to hunt you down and say HI

Yeah, I know for a lot of people that was am issue. I am guessing they DID NOT get the Sunday license, but it is just that...... a guess.

The thing that turned me off is the did not have the sound going through anything but the TV speakers. I am not sure if they fixed this issue yet or not either, but for the Monday Night Preseason game it WAS NOT ON. You could hardly hear anything. I want to hear the game too.

WhooDeyBaby has suggested that maybe we switch locations. I will leave that to discussion in here because as I have stated MANY times that I ONLY go to the bar for away games... I have season tickets. If not many want to move to another location then I think WhooDeyBaby and I will most likely find somewhere else and come up with a different "name', unless we have 2 chapters of the CBN. ALthough the bar we pick will prob. be pretty close as that is around the area we both live, so it doens't make much sense to have 2.

Anyway let me know what everyone thinks. I would LOVE to keep everyone together. I just do not think The Pub is the place for this.

Wow, so it was prob. pretty empty. I am surprised this bar hasn't said just to forget about it.

I think I may try to find another bar or just have people over to the house.

Other than the terrible loss it was a really good time. There were some where between 20-30 bengal fans there. The only thing we were missing was the Who Dey Chant after scores. (might be why we lost. lol) I heard several people ask about the chant.

One of the better highlights of the day was about half way thru the first quarter the door opens and everyone turns around and about 10-12 steeler fans walked in. One person yells out this is a Who Dey Bar. You wont find a steeler game here. They all looked stunned and turn around and walk out as everyone claps.

Hopefully this Sunday will be even bigger and it should be I know of some more coming that were not there this past Sunday and hopefully we can get the full Who Dey Chant going in a win over Seattle.

Interesting....... nice work running the Steelers out of the joint. I don't think I have ever seen more than 10 Bengals fans in there. Maybe I will give it another shot. I know the WhoDey Chant will not be in full swing because WhooDeyBaby will not be able to make it. He leads it..........

Is everyone going to the gahanna pub this weekend? Looking at the nfl distribution maps the browns have local tv covered.. so bengals fans in cbus and most of ohio will need to attend the bar... we are considering dub pub but its a browns bar so it kind of *****....

DooDoo.... the state of the Pub in Gahanna is kind of unknown at this point. No one comes in here excpet WhooDeyBaby and I... and occasionally Rizzy. The Pub in Gahanna has a lot of short comings, but it isn't a bad place and tyoically is mostly Bengals fans. I am up for suggestions of somewhere else, or he can just give The Pub one last shot.

What I mean by that is do they still only have volume through the TVs themselves. They told us last year that they were going to tie it into the speakers they use for the jukebox.....and actually make it so you can hear the game.

PS..... nice site, but if you can you should have a section where you can say whether or not you will be going. I know a lot of people only want to go if there will be a decent crowd (kind of like an "evite" thing). Also I would try to tie into these message boards more. I know last year we had a lot of interest on the boards. This year it is like a ghost town in here.

Nice.... I think that will help a lot. Pics show people what they are "missing" by not going. Also shows that people are showing up. Anything to get people thinking of "The Pub" through the week is good. A newsletter or even just more chit chat in here will help.

If I can help in anyway let me know...... I am somewhat proficient on the PC and have a pretty nice camera. I will most likely make it out to the pub Sunday. Hope it's a good turn out

With your permission.... I can set up a "myspace" account for the CBN. It is MUCH easier to set-up and you can make it look pretty slick. Let me know if you want me to do that.... or you can take the idea and work on it.

Yeah... this guy was a HUGE problem last year. If I remember right he was the one yelling inappropriate things at the TV comparing terri Shirvo (not sure about they name right now) to Trent Green (I think) when he got hit and knocked out in the game against us last year.

What is really sad is that you actually came to this little tiny thread and decided to post in it about random things you think about at night. It's sad really. This is a Bengals Board.... go talk about the Bengals and get over that fact that you could not have a good time at a bar that was showing the Bengals games. **** you take either one of those by themselves and I can have a good time without crying like a little girl "oh no... I had to look a RC Cola on tap... it was very scary. Some of the girls looked at me and gave me cooties too" What a tool.....
