This is a great beer Steely.
Especially with an orange slice.
Michelob Light is probaly my favorite domestic.
Miller Lite and Bud Select are a close second.
If you want a good cheap American beer, IMO this is better than Bud Light.
After drinking different beers (and BL @ EVERY party) BL tastes almost like Natural Light to me.

Now on to the good beer.
I love ALL of these.
If you havent tried some of these, you really should.

Sadly, Miller stopped importing this beer and it can only be bought in Germany or Groceries like Jungle Jims.

im a big fan of Carib beer. i got it in St. Maarten a couple years ago, and have loved it ever since. its a corona style, but tastes better imo. you can get it at the party source in newport
In the immortal words of Homer Simpson,
"I'd trade my life for just one drop of sweet, precious beer!"
"Beer, the solution to and cause of all life's problems!"
Does it really matter what kind??
I know some Simpson fan is gonna throw some more on here! Come on.
For the record, I like Blue Moon, Miller High Life, and Modelo Especial (to name a few).
If I want to get drunk, PBR and if I am in the mood to enjoy a couple beers, then Yeungling.
Two mentions of Yeungling in this thread. What is it? (I'm guessing it is Chinese, right?) Where can I find it? What is it similar too?
Cheers!

It depends...
If I'm in a bar, I usually go cheap. Miller High Life:thumbsup:
At home I've been knocking back Newcastle and Bass lately.
I like beer in general... I'll drink an Olde English if it's called for.

My favorite is a German beer called Warsteiner but since it costs $8.00 a sixpack, I usually drink Miller Lite. Michelob Ultra isn't bad either.
The Heinekin they sell here in the states tastes like skunk beer to me. It's completely different in Europe and I speak from experience as I was stationed in Gemany for three years while in the USAF.
The same can be said for Lowenbrau. The US version is watered down compared to the one brewed in Germany.
The NCO club on the base I was stationed had nickel beer on Friday. Nothing like Lowenbrau and Heinekin for five cents. More than once I got trashed on 50 cents.:p

Sam Adams makes some very good beers. Some of my favorites are:
Sam Adams Boston Lager
Sam Adams Light
Sam Adams Pale Ale
Sam Adams Octoberfest
Sam Adams Winter Lager
Sam Adams Black Lager
Sam Adams Honey Porter
I haven't tried them all yet but there's only been a couple I haven't liked so far. Very good beers IMO.

Anyway, last night I had Miller Lite and it was delicious. But I prefer Bud Light. Also Miller High Life Lite is really good (only MHL Lite though, not regular MHL) also Naty Light I like a lot.

Honestly its not my favorite beer, but a 12 pack for 5.50 just can't be passed up. IMO it tastes just as good as Budweiser and much better than the other beers in its class (the beast, natty light, keystone light). Plus basically every bar in the city has dollar draft for PBR every night.

I went to Georgetown College (not the DC University, the small Kentucky college where the Bengals start camp) and it's a dry town. But there was this mom and pop place just outside the city limits where we could get a 12 pack of Natty Light for $4.99.

I honestly think that is true.
The older I got, the more different beers I tried.
You really do have to develop a taste.
Be honest, how many parties have you been to and saw or drank BL ? <_<
Miller Lite and Michelob Light are probaly the best tasting domestics IMO.
After drinking several different kinds of beer, I have grown to love Red Stripe, Newcastle, Lowenbrau and JW Dundee's Honey Brown.
BL tastes almost as much like water as Natural.
Dont get me wrong , I will drink just about any beer regardless.
But when a man has the money, its nice to drink a beer that tastes like a beer is supposed to. :thumbsup:
BL = 4.2%
Michelob L = 4.2%
Yuengling = 4.4%

Honey Brown = 4.5%
Lowenbrau = 5.2%
Newcastle =4.5%
Grolsch = 5.0%

I bet most of us would love to brew our own beer if we had the means, $$$.
I guarantee it wouldnt taste anything like most domestics.

I know exactly what you mean. When I was in college, my beer of choice as a freshman was the beast, then I worked myself up to busch light in the later years. Busch light was my favorite college brew but I havent had it since I graduated.
