I'm not gonna lie...
I'm not impressed.
He's alright...I guess...I'd take him with a 7th rounder maybe. But that highlight just shows him gang tackling. It doesn't show him using extreme agility or power to knock a ball loose or catch someone who was supposed to be gone...or make an excellent open field tackle.
It showed one interception that was in the red zone where everything is crammed and confusing and its easy to throw a mistake to the safety. They showed a pick when all 4 Dlinemen were in the QBs face and he tried to throw it away. I admit he did have one interception where he used some athleticism to contort his body and rip it away from the WR, but Chinedum can already do that.But after he intercepted it, he never went anywhere with it. On 2 of the INTs, he went backwards because he couldn't get around the WRs who aren't even trained how to tackle in the open field

He's a sluggish returner. He was caught from behind by linebackers throughout that highlight. I just don't see anything worth a 3rd round pick in that highlight....and thats his highlight.

Michael jackson could look like a star on a highlight video. The fact that his best plays are like a gang tackle that was already handled before he got there is unsettling...I think we'll stick with Chinedum and Marvin in the defensive backfield.

If we take Ellis, we won't be taking Laws. They basically come from the same mold. If we take another DT it will be someone to absorb blockers

We won't be taking a S like Zbikowski that early either, and if we did we wouldn't take another S later.

I'm sorry to keep doing this, but we have more of a need for an ILB, so I'd rather see us grab Goff or Keglar with our second 3rd. Crable never impressed me enough as a blitzer or pass defender.
