Althought I do love the Bengals, College football ALWAYS takes priority in my heart, especially in the SOUTH! You would think that, but I am a born and bread USC (the good one) fan. My grandfather played football there, my uncle played basket ball there, and my mother and grandmother went to school there.

Notre Dame, Notre Dam-we-****-and-can't-win-bowl-games is more like it. I have tickets to the game this year but might sell them. The way they GT handled them was just embarissing for the rivalry. Makes them look even worse.

I thought WV had some smok'in running backs this year but CAL is for real. I thought my USC Trojans were gonna waltz through the PAC10 this year. Time to think again. Can't wait for that game. Golden Bears looked more like golden cheetahs.

I am sick about hearing how much speed one team has over another. Speed is universal at the 1-A level (Appalachian state proved that). Did florida beat the buckeys becasue of their speed? NO, they beat them because they outcoached and outplayed the buckeys. Yes, you might have a reciver who can run a 4.3 or a running back who can run a 4.4. going against Linebackes and corners who run 4.4s and 4.5s, but that is why you have safties, and DLs while on the offensive side, you have the OL.

The whole speed thing is a myth.

I'm not sure that we will win a National Championship this year. I'm a huge fan, and would be excited if it happens, but I'm also realistic. We have a lot of holes to fill, although Boeckman did look good.

USC has a rough road ahead, but they do have a tremendous amount of talent.

This season will be VERY exciting.

Im would not be one bit surprised to see us battle for the title next year though. I think Todd will have matured alot by then and we will have some other guys with a full year of starting under their belt.
