I don't believe Chad when he says he will sit out the season. First off he will lose millions, and if the reports that he is financially irresponsible are true, then he needs it. But most importantly he is 30. If we are willing to let him sit in 08 then we will in 09. By the time his contract is up, his career will be too. Chad is not a long shot to make the hall of fame with 4-5 more huge seasons, and in order to achieve that, he will have to play. I think he will sit out half to all of camp, realize he isn't going anywhere and show up when the regular season starts. For Chad it's all about money and fame, neither of which he will achieve sitting at home. Reminds me of every other threatened hold out; they all show up eventually.
