IMO...I think that Frye was their best option. I think the Clowns will do well enough with Frye that Brandy Queen won't touch the ball this season. We shall see....

Poor *******.

He's in a no win situation. If he does well then everyone is going to feel they wasted a pick on Brady. If he doesn't do well then he loses his job to Brady.

In order to keep his job he has to make the BROWNS look GOOD!!!!

Hello bengalsnation! This is my first of hopefully several posts. I think that Frye will be the man until the fifth game, by that point the browns will be 1-3 and Romeo will be at the unemployment office then well see Brady. Oh well, thats my two cents.

This year, definately. However,I think Quinn would give them a better chance to overtake us down the road. What SHOULD happen is that the Browns should sit Quinn for this year, and possibly even next year. Draft some O-line and some WR's and then take a RB in the 1st the year after next(when they actually have a 1st round pick again). What WILL happen is Quinn will start on the bench. The Browns will lose a bunch of games and Crennel will throw him in mid-season to try and get a "grace year" for having a rookie starting at QB to try and save his job.

Ah...

So Carson Palmer really has nothing to do with the Browns decision to go with Frye.. you're just taking whatever little shred of a comparison to gush over Carson like a goober. Gotchya! ;)

The Browns O-line is about as good as it can get after taking a few of our top guys and putting Joe Thomas on the line. Its like this if the Browns cant get it done with Jurevicious/Quinn/Lewis/Thomas/Kaeshivarin/Steinbach then they are a lost cause with no hope.

Romeo is ****ed, you dont draft a top tackle/QB in the first round and build the best team you can in the offseason and not start them. Everyone wants Quinn and even the rumblings through the media are saying if Romeo doesnt start him soon he will be unemployed. Frye nor Anderson can get it done and they have gotten nowhere with their QB problem because if so they wouldnt judge it on a week to week basis.

I say throw Quinn in their against Pittsburgh after Frye take a few snaps and see what happens..At least if Romeo wants to have a job in week 3.

God, I hope so. The Browns can wreck him like they wrecked Tim Couch and the AFCN will have another 3-5 years of guaranteed Browns futility.

I'm not allowed to give you guys crap when you get all gushy gushy over Carson? It's like he gets praise worked in from any subject.

"I was walking through Sears yesterday and saw this great looking grill. Man, Carson Palmer really can eat a sausage,.. probably better than Charlie Frye"

Calm down Sally... it's all in fun.

Sally ........ Steely
Hmmm .......... are you sure thats not your real name ?

Never said you werent allowed to and I completely understand where you are coming from with this. BUT , Im not one of those fans that praises Carson out the waazoo just to be doing it.
The subject was about the Browns QB shuffle/situation.
So I am just glad we dont have to worry about that and have a solid starting QB.
Thats all.

And yes Sally .....errr Steely
It is all in good fun.
I mean until Marv came along , we had no stability at the Coach spot.
So Im sure you were thankful for Mr. Cowher.
So yeah , Thank Goodness for Carson Palmer.
Man , I cant say that enough. ;)

The only competition among the quarterbacks will be to see who can get the least amount of grass stain on their back.
