At QB, you're in pretty good shape with Kitna but need to get a true backup. Russell's a waste unless you're in a keeper or dynasty league. If not, then you could really be in trouble if Kitna gets hurt or demoted, not to mention having someone to start on Detroit's bye week. Unfortunately, in a 16 team league, there's not a lot of available QBs out there. You may just need to wait it out until Kitna's bye in week 6 to quickly pick up a QB that manages to break into a starting lineup somewhere (i.e. Quinn or Anderson in Cleveland, McCown in Oakland, Coyle in KC or any moves necessitated by injury).

Other positions look to be OK. Receiver & Running Back have one solid player each (TO & Bush). Not much for depth, but, once again, not suprising for a 16-team league. Dunn could be a fair #2 but has a TD vulture in Norwood and may finally be breaking down due to his age. Henderson should get plenty of chances in NO's big play offense. Defense & kicker are fine.

The big key for you will be the start of the season. Watch these games to find the early gems. Don't wait too long, though. There's 15 other owners looking to fill in some depth of their own and maybe even find that one guy to put them over the top. Amongst your own players, I'd watch Clark & Bennett. Those are guys who could challenge for starting positions in the near future.

Great advice thanks for taking the time. !

:)

I would have picked more bengals but its an online league with a bunch of my friends from other cities. They all hate my whodey chants, and made sure i didnt get any bengals.

Rudi went in the first rnd.
Chad and carson both went early 2nd rnd before my pick came up. Then TJ went 3rd rnd before my pick again. ********.

Well, one of the first rules of fantasy football is to draft with your brain, not your heart. Having said that, when your heart's team has an offense with the likes of Palmer, CJ, Rudi & TJ, it's kind of hard not to let that impact your judgment at least a little (and, admittedly, it did in my leagues). The flip side of that is that they just don't tend to last long anyways, so you may be lucky to even grab one of them.

Oh well. As I've always said, I'd gladly trade in all of my fantasy football championships - even give it up altogether - just to see the Bengals win the Super Bowl.

Ok one more question...

This Thursday should i start D. Henderson for the saints or D. Clark TE for the colts.

I'd go with Henderson. He's the #2 receiver behind Colston, although you could argue he's #3 behind Bush. Of course, there's plenty of weapons in Indy too. Close call, but maybe it won't matter in a high scoring game and both will produce.

Heres my starters.

J. Kitna---QB Detroit (QB Controversy coming up soon with Drew Stanton)
R. BUSH----RB New Or
T. Owens-----WR Dallas (How long before he gets suspended because of a bad season?)
W. Dunn--RB/WR ATL (Jervious Norwood won the starting position)
D.Henderson-----WR/TE New Or
BEARS-----def. (even without Tank they still can control the NFC North) Tough schedule too (Chargers,Eagles,Seahawks,Broncos, maybe the chiefs will give problems)
R. Goulde----Kicker Chicago (well that should work with that lame offense chicago has)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

BENCH

J. Russel QB Oakland (Do you really what work with that terrible Oline?)
A. Peterson RB Chicago (50/50 shot he will share carries)
L. Booker RB Miami (unknown?)
M. Jenkins WR ATL (Good reciever, but will they throw to Joe Horn and Alge first?)
D. Clark TE INDY (might lose catches to Anthony Gonzalas since he is about the same size as a TE)
D. Bennet WR STL (good pick up with Torry Holt might go down any minute) Still third or fourth reciever
J. Owens TE New Orleans
M. Bryant K TampaBay
TAMPBAY ----Defense. ( man that defense is badly aged look at the depth chart)

I don't see it sorry, but I placed comments.I have been boycotting T.O ever since that year he mouthed off to the Eagles and got suspended for the rest of the season.(week 7 said some trash about Mcnabb after he didn't get fireworks display for the 100th reception) When I do get him by a auto pick draft I do my darnest to get a decent trade for him. The same also goes for Randy Moss past his prime trying to get ring before he retires.

Oh believe i dont like him either. But when you want to win your FFL and your in a 16 team league its hard to pass drafting him.

Especially when i predict him having a very good year this year.

Look at Anthony Gonzalas,Dwayne Jarrett they do have potential and worth a look.I know I picked up Anthony Gonzalas because he has good hands to catch quick bullets from Peyton, then dash away. (playing the third slot that resulted in peyton's 49 td season with Stokley)

Newbie Took down his first opponent.

Beat him by only two points.

I was down 20+ points.

With TO left for me and Dallas defense left for him.

TO had a 20 point night and dallas went negative !! WOOT!:tiger:

Peterson and Clark should now be in, and Dunn and Henderson to the bench for week 3, unless you made trades.
