My friends and I did our yearly draft last night... 10 person league and I picked 5th:

Starters:
QB: Carson Palmer
RB: Joseph Addai
RB: Willis McGahee
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Braylon Edwards
WR: Santonio Holmes
TE: Antonio Gates
K: David Akers
DEF: Chicago

Backups:
QB: Jeff Garcia (Plays Indy during Bengals bye week, should get points)
RB: DeAngelo Williams (possible breakout year)
RB: Ladell Betts (waiting for Portis to go down)
WR: Matt Jones (has some good matchups during bye weeks of my others)
WR: Vincent Jackson (finished hot last year, hopefully continues)
TE: Greg Olsen (late round pick.. figured why not)

My WR are weak, but I'm a big Andre Johnson fan, and they play an easier schedule this year, with the second easiest weeks 14-16 (playoff weeks) so I figured he was worth it. Hate to say it but I think Holmes will have a big year. I'm hoping to pick someone up to fill the third spot, I just took Edwards because the Browns also have an easier week 14-16 schedule.. I have to hit the free agent list to find a surprise 3rd WR, or maybe one of my bench players will play well. Hopefully DeAngelo becomes the number 1 and plays well because he has good matchups during my starters bye weeks.

I figure I have weekly starters at QB, RB, TE, K, DEF no matter who they play, so I really only need to worry about the WR position.

And yes I'm aware I took a bunch of AFC North foes, but thats how the cards fell.

Your starting lineup is STACKED! Who the he|| were you drafting with and can I get in on your pool next year?

The only improvements I would make is to pick up another #1 receiver.. or another class A runningback but good draft overall

haha i was pleased with it... i saved receivers for last so i was able to take palmer, gates, and chicago early... luckily andre johnson fell to me, and I knew I would get Holmes later on... but I agree I still need to find another solid WR
