1) Steelers at Cleveland - New offense is ok, but our defense is still awesome. Steelers win this, 21-9.

2) Cincy and the Ravens. Game of the week, IMHO. Bengals defense is terrible, as is the Ravens offense. The real battle is going to be between the Bengals O and the Raven's D. FA left the Ravens a bit more vulnerable than they want to admit, the Bengals want this a bit more than they do - Bengals 17 - Ravens 10.

Browns lose but I don't know how badly, and I'm going with 17-9 Bengals win(just a guess).(Stover MVP for the Ravens) I do believe the Bengals have something to prove after playing terrible in the Pre-season just to save face. Also would have been nice if the NFL gave a real game for the season opener instead of that patsy game of the Saints versus Indy.(Sorry NFC teams are kind of lame) Now the Chargers versus the Colts would have been interesting to watch or even the Pats, but the Saints---no. Look how swell the Saints did against the Browns last year.(Brees threw 170 yards 1td,1 int)

Steelers v. Browns:
I think the Browns lose this one big (relative to the lack of Steeler offense). I think the Steelers Defense outscores everyone: Steelers win on 2 defensive TDs and 2 Jeff Reed FGs (with a long run by Willie Parker) 27-9

Ravens v. Bengals:
I have to think about that one... no prediction yet

Steelers 24 Browns 9

Browns offense looks good early but then struggles as they near the red zone. After holding the Browns to 2 field goals the Steelers D get 2 picks. One gives them the short field and the O gets a touchdown. The other pick goes for a touchdown by the D. 3 of the Steelers points comes at the end of the 4th with Tomlin not wanting to run up the score on an obvious butt whipping by his team. :)

Bengals 31 Ravens 17

Bengals D struggles early and allows an easy touchdown (freaking out the many doubters). The Bengals offense starts to roll and keeps possession for an 11 play drive that ends in a touchdown and take 14 minutes off the clock. The drive gives the Bengals O the confidence to open it up for a quick strike on the next possession. At half time the score is Bengals 14 Ravens 10.

Bengals come out after the half and surprises everyone with the best half time adjustment to their play calling in the past 4 years. They go on to score 2 consecutive touchdowns while the D holds the Ravens O in check up to the end of the game. The Ravens final touchdown comes after the Bengals kick a field goal and puts in the second string at the end of the game making it look better than it actually was.

Remember, you heard it here first! :D

I don't have any doubts that my Steelers win......33-12. as for the mon. nighter. ravens win a close one.......17-16. your boy palmer needs to hold onto the ball when he gets pressured. he fumbles like ben throws int's when there is a hard rush!

Whatever, I'm sure that inexperience at the center last year had nothing to do with that problem.(rolls eyes)(Braham gone after the Browns game (broken leg)) But that's ok,I'm sure you will find out what's that like this season without your Jeff Harting.I saw little preview on the Eagles game when you both had the starters in,the Eagles flooded the middle and forced Ben to choose unwisely. I do hope that your center progresses nicely during the season, along with "Willie in the Colon".

My Gawd, that's a hilarious name for a player you have Willie(Slang for male sex parts) and "Colon" (fudge packer area) and to have together as a name priceless. Oh well,at least you know he has to mean with a name like that, and I'm sure he got harassed big time on that one growing up.(Boy named Sue Theory) LMAO I can just hear it now with Madden saying,"Man,that Willie Colon just packs it right in there;I mean boom he's down".

I'll take us over Clevetown.. but don't even give them 9. I'd say 3... 6 tops.

Bengals/Ravens... not sure what to think. I was excited for their last meeting and it was a real snoozer IMO. I like to see the Ravens Lose more than the Bengals lose,.. but I'll be happy with a tie.

Huh,now it's a snoozer if you play safe on offense, when the Steelers normally play them like that all the time and the fans consider it great? I mean seriously, I remember falling asleep twice on that Monday night game of the Ravens versus Steelers in 2005 and both times the Ravens had the ball.So I was like WTF still the same score, man,I didn't miss much. And yeah I'm still upset a mis-tackle that gave the Ravens their only score of the game.

Come on... 6 to 3? Maybe if the Orioles were playing the Reds... but this is football, no one has a 6-3 game anymore

Maybe he got messed up and meant 3-6 years for his next player to serve hard time from the Ravens. LOL

Steelers-Browns 21-10 if Frye starts as he'll pull out a TD drive late in the 4th QTR when the Steelers start to let the middle of the field open up to run out the clock.
28-3 if Quinn starts (and I'm being conservative in the Browns' favor).

Bengals-Ravens 21-17 - our D lets the Ravens keep it close possibly leading in the 4th when our O scores on a lengthy, time consuming drive that just demoralizes Baltimore. Game ends with a McNair INT due to Geathers rushing him.

I think the Browns/Steelers games will be tight. I think the Steelers will struggle a bit with turnovers in their 1st regular season game with the new offense. However, the Steelers have better players at almost every position, and pull it out in the end,23-19,after the D bails them out by making the Browns kick FG's after the turnovers.

Bengals/Ravens is a tougher game to call. The Ravens offense is so aenemic, their D and ST's will have to generate points via turnovers and returns to win. Provided the Bengals take care of the ball,I see them winning going away as the Raven D wears down in the 2nd half,20-10. However, the Ravens can easily win this one if they can win the turnover battle.

Big Ben throwing an interception? Come on, what are you drinking? Seriously, I think you're wrong, I think Ben will throw 0 interceptions and 0 touchdowns Sunday, and will throw only about 15 passes all day because the Browns won't be able to stop the Steelers rushing attack..

Right... we had a snoozer against the Ravens too. Your point? All I'm saying is last years Thursday night Ravens Bengals game was a snoozer.

Didn't mean to make you cry bro,.. just sayin' what I remember.

Well just trying to find common reference point because most Steelers found the Ravens and Steelers games of 2005 spectacular. So no worries, but I'm still upset with that mis-tackle for a Raven score.

I don't think they could stop anyone's rushing attack.(Lamont Jordan's only over 100 yard game raking up 128 yards and 1td).

nah if the orioles were playing the reds they would let up 20 -30 runs lol. havent you watched baseball lately. the ravens havent let up 30 points since 2003. the orioles did it this year almost twice lol.

i predict the steelers win 24-17

ravens win 28-24

Steelers will win without a doubt. I think this will be Bens best year yet and I think the Steelers will do shockingly well their second year without JB and with their new Coach.

I think the Bengals could win but it won't be easy. It can actually go both ways because the Ravens are certainly not going to just let it happen for y'all. They want that game just as much as y'all do. LoL! Am I spelling y'all right? Hahaha! Anyway, the Bengals really need this win and I hope y'all get it. As much as I often hate to admit it y'all have a killer team it's just that you haven't really won anything significant. They are all gonna start asking Palmer the same exact question they were asking Peyton up until last Season. I think if y'all win this game it would be the perfect beginning to the mindset y'all need to carry thoughout the Season.

Good Luck Y'all!

Cleveland will win the big upset this week. 17-7.

Bengals D is not great, but neither is Baltimore's O. Bengals: 14-7.

Yes, honey-chile, you are spelling it correctly.

But, to get the full effect, you really need to say, "all y'all".

As in... All y'all bengals fans are gonna be a sad sorry bunch after the ratbirds put the bengals down hard on MNF"...
