There's alot to pick from so good luck i will start off with

Clearly, you can't have a list like this and not include Darth Vader. That's just obvious. You could add plenty of Jack Nicholson characters as well: Jack Torrance (The Shining), Daryl Van Horne (The Witches of Eastwick), Joker (Batman), Nathan Jessup (A Few Good Men). I'll also throw out there the subtle deviousness of Keyser Soze.

Max Cady. He's scary as he**. Anybody who gets the kind of beatdown he did and keeps coming back is demoralizing to be at odds with. Counselor!!!

Vader is my favorite of all time. I also like Lee Van Cleef in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.

I did forget about Christopher Walken i especially liked when he played the headless horsemen in Sleepy Hollow.

BTW Max is the villain from Cape Fear played first by Robert Mitchum and more recently by Robert DeNiro. DeNiro would be the one I'd pick. He just keeps coming, no matter what they do to him.
