Hillary has now said she would accept the VP canidacy if offered. If she did, it would be the death nell for Obama's campaign. She has said on several occasions during her campaign in several public speeches that "John McCain is more fit for office than Barack Obama". I can see the campaign commercials now quoting her saying that...or better yet having audio of it. Then the line "How can you believe in this man to run America if his own running mate can't?" Anyone believe the Obama strategists are dumb enough to let him make that mistake?

Bingo. Siding with the establishment candidate would negate any image of change he has left.

That's precisely why I think he needs to nominate a Governor or politician that's never held an office that meets in Washington D.C. He needs to distance himself as far as possible away from that city and the corruption involved with it.

Hillary Clinton is nothing more than a snake who is trying anything to slither her way into the Oval Office. I truly, truly mean it when I say, I think it will be a truly dark day in American History if she finds here way there thru the Presidency or Vice Presidency..

To me , of course she would want to be VP if she could. A lot of people don't like to hear it but if Obama becomes President he probably will face a very high chance of someone, somewhere trying to assassinate him..I know that sounds very ghoulish, but its a subject of conversation that I've heard more than a few times..

In the end, Hillary saying she would accept the VP position isn't much different than me saying I would accept it - neither statement means Obama is actually considering it.

You broke my heart Fredo! You broke my heart!

Seriously, when party elder statesman Jimmy Carter (who speaks out about as often as Bush, Sr. about party workings) panned the idea I of Hillary as VP I figured the idea was dead.
