Man, I'm as conservative and religious as the next.....but you just seem off your rocker. Do you live for posting information on these message boards that no one else could ever care to find? We all know that the end of the world is supposed to be NOW so why cause panic and rush it? And what do you do for a living, other than find articles on line and post them here? Really, you need a new hobby and you need to relax. I hope you aren't always this uptight and controversial around your family. I've got relatives like that and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

We have to have a unified global economy first. This is still far off, so we have a ways before we can unify currency. The Euro is the closest thing to this currently and that is because the European economy is considered to be unified.

How does a recommendation from a pair of journalists to establish "world monetary reform" mean that a one world currency "seems to be coming to fruition"?
As is usually the case with such prophecies, some people are so desperate to make them reality and convince others - if not themselves - of their legitimacy that they will shoehorn anything even remotely related into their often generic and loosely translated declarations. It's just like those who insist they see things like the virgin Mary on a slice of toast. In many cases, people simply see what they want to see.

I like to know what is happening around the world and how it will effect me and my country because everything is intertwined now ...and that is not a good thing ..I have my own business that i run from my house and I'm not uptight at all ...I'm one of the most relaxed people you would ever meet ....

Nonetheless, it's two people's opinion being presented as proof of a forthcoming change in the world economy. Not only that, but going a step further by associating it with some biblical prophecy.

I think this will show more proof that were leaning that way ...

Well first there going to have a North American Union with Canada, Mexico, and USA.
They say the new currency will be the Amero.
It will happen in a lease 30 years or sooner.
I know to some people this may seem like a shock.
But I am sure you would of thought the same thing in Germany 30 years ago.
If you keep in touch with financial news; you probable have already heard of the Amero.
As soon as you can buy it you should. The will make the dollar so weak you will have to use an Amero.

I think that's definitely a better reference than the first, but still is only pertinent to a fraction of the globe.
Just out of curiosity, are we speaking of a specific prophecy here such as the end of times or just biblical prophecies in general in an effort to provide something resembling proof of the omniscient influence on a particular religion?

There is only one specific prophecy on the use of a one world currency ...well actually i believe we will be a cashless society so we may just skip over a one world currency ...

Well soon everyone will have an ID card with a chip in it.
It is now in all the new passport.
People in the world with most the power want it all.

If they can put it (a micro chip) in my dog to GPS him - we'll eventually have one I'd imagine. :hmm:

The arrogance of the United States voting public would never have it happen. The same thing would happen as happened with the Pound.
Seems we were right though, why give up the strongest currency in the Western world?

The North American Union is coming, along with the Amero and national ID cards.I don't know if this fullfills prophecy.there are already microchips in some products, such as Gillette razors. If people are willing to place a chip in their pets, they are less than a step away from being willing to have one placed in their children,or themselves. You already have one in your car.Is this freedom?

I don't see how unified currency makes for apocalypse. All it would do is eliminate arbitrage and the money markets. It would annoy some financial planners hedging in other markets, but those guys will figure something out. They are pretty clever.
EDIT - Arbitrage of currency itself. Products themselves are a different story.
