How sad is it, when we are not even at the all-star break and I am already talking about the reds... next year. But it's ok because we are tyring to fight out of last place in the worst division, so I think it is safe to say that we can talk about next season.
Our pitching hands down is the worst thing we have, so I think changes are going to be made.
I think Bronson Arroyo possibly could be traded in the offseason (if his struggles continues)
Also, iIthink Kyle Loshe will end up being either traded or released.
Eric Milton surely is to be traded or released.
So with that, it leaves either 2-3 Pitching Spots Open.
If Bronson Stays I say our Starting Roatition will look like this:
Aaron Harrang
Homer Bailey
Bronson Arroyo
Phil Dumarait/Bobby Livingston
Matt Belisle
If Bronson goes
Aaron Harrang
Homer Bailey
Matt Belisle
Phil Dumarait
Bobby Livingston
Our bullpen is youthful and I think Mike Stanton gets cut or retires, David Weathers gets released or traded, Todd Coffey goes to minor league.
I think that means Marcus McBeth who is lights out will be our closer. This kid is something golden.
That leaves
Bill Bray
Jared Burton
Brad Salmon
Victor Santos
Everyday Eddie
John Coutalangous
With that, our Starting Pitching and Bullpen is young, but with a year underneath their belts, I think we will be fine.
Our hitting is getting older, so I think we will find a C, 1st Baseman and SS to help depth our lineup in free agency.
I think Next Year is the year we win the Wild Card.

see...as a Pirate fan I use to be optimistic, saying maybe next year with a bunch of good reasons to back it...unfortantly, after 14 years of maybe next year and it ebing very apparent that The owners have no interest in winning..
I envy you because you have something to look forward to....

You guys have a good solid thing of guys just need to learn to build around it not destroy it.
I would love to know what happened to Zack Duke, he had a celiing so high but yet he made it collapse somehow.
