I just purchased 2008 season tickets today (August 6) through the Bengals ticket office (621-TDTD). I had no idea before today they were still available, but on the season tickets tab from the front page, it says, "a limited number of 2008 season tickets are available but will sell out quickly." If anyone else is interested, I'd call quickly.
Now I'm ready for some football as a first time season ticket holder!

Clearly not enough people renewed.
It might not be a bad idea to add your name onto the list and see what they have to offer and then unload your seats at face.
It's tempting, but my new ones are on the aisle. Hmmmm....

You would think they would be able to get people off the waiting list though....... I guess some said no because they couldn't afford it this time around or something. I dunno it seems weird
I just had that thought....
I told my buddy WhoDeyBaby about it and he signed up..... I will DIE if he gets better seats than I have! haha
I doubt it though....... but I may put my name in to se what they got

I know. I just happened to look at the site earlier this afternoon and saw there were tickets available and sent my request as well... Hope it works. Love to get out there and watch my Bengals and see The Bengal Thing all season as well.
This site it takes you to after is a bit dated huh? lol Gotta love the Vikes being lead by Culpepper or Houston's David Carr and that rookie Phenom Worthlessbetger leading the Steelers.

Good point, you would think with them saying the wait is 2 years long they would. My guess is maybe the waiting list people didnt really want to sit in the 300s. Id be upset as well if better seats were available then what they offered me. But I won't complain, I bought the tix with coa at face from a guy on the board and they were in the corner. I got them upgraded to section 336 pretty much the same exact spot as you except on the other side and on the aisle seats 1 and 2 row 22. Not to shabby.

I got my call a little bit ago... they said it is mainly row 25 and up that is left and they are currently trying to "help out" current season ticket holders

Ehh not worth it to me, and help out does that mean upgrades?
One more section over and my coa goes up to $750 per seat. I already dumped $2300 in my tix this year. I'll stay content where I am at.

My understanding was they were giving the option for additional tickets to current season ticket holders:
IE - My buddy submitted the form before I did last night and he is NOT a season ticket holder
I got called this AM and he did not! haha
I told them to call him though and they did.....
They are REALLY nice at the ticket office
YEAH.... I am the same way with my COA...... I want to move DOWN, but not OVER! haha

ahh ok gotcha, yeah the ticket office is top notch. The customer service is like a family owned business.Wait a second it is. The Bengals organization has been more than gracious to me. Is your buddy that you speak of WhoDey Baby? I've seen him at a few games and gave him a Who Dey, I got a nod.
Me and the lady decided we will try to move down further and further each year but only upgrade our COA every 3-5 if possible.

Wow, not a bad score.... I am in 314 row 20 and I have been a ticket holder for 2 years.
The COA is a bit hefty in that section, but that is a NICE score! ;)

How expensive are the season tickets usually? I put in a request too, but not heard back yet.

$1340.00 for the 2 tickets and 750 each for the COA for a total of 1500 overall total = 2840. But the 1500 for the COA is spread out over a 3 year period! you don't have to pay all of the COA up front just 1/3 of it! so I was out 1840 this year for season tixs!

Yeah I should have bitten the bullet. I have my COA paid off, so I would only be paying the extra ($750 - $480), but I have tickets with 2 other buddies, and they didn't want to pay anymore.
I should have just done it

Hey I may sell my coas after the season. I have 4 in section 152, row 5. I paid $1000 a piece 2 years ago. If any of you would be interested let me know. I would sell in pairs. I know your not suppose to sell over face on here but thats what I paid. I would keep them, they are fun seats, but I purchased some in section 132. I paid the price because it is so hard to get coas in the lower bowl.

Seems rather expensive for season tickets. I've been able to buy tickets at face value for a few games every year. Ticketmaster usually has some visitor section tickets available a few days before the game. I'm a fair weather fan as I go to games in September and October before it gets cold. The rest I watch on a big screen TV. I hope the season tickets are worth it this year and the Bengals have a winning record.
