Sky Sports have just announced the first 4 weeks schedule of TV coverage.

I had been worried after last year that we would struggle to get any live games we could see our side of the pond. However the flip side of so many 1.pm kick off times in the US means we have been selected twice for the early evening live game ... 6pm GMT - no late night/early morning shifts thankfully!..

Week 3 .@ the Giants
Week 4 Browns

No schedule beoynd week 4 at the moment..hopefully we are in contention for playoofs throughout the year and pick up some games later..Who Dey

I think there's a good chance we'll feature in week 5 too at Dallas being one of a few late games...red button hopefully at the least...3 weeks in a row will be cool

Going for gamepasss HD for weeks 1 and 2

well I've bitten the bullet..

..following Mark4 's post i 've been doing some digging in to the NFL.com Gamepass HD and i've decided to get a Bengals season ticket so i can see all regular season games this year.

The only caveat is that the Bengals games broadcast live here by Sky seem to have some regional restrictions. So i can see them but on a delay. Other than that all other games will be 'fully ' live

With the exchange rate the season pass comes in at about £95...plus £90 I spent on Bengals merchandise which is in the process of getting shipped over here. Best keep my bank statements away from the missus..:nervous:

I hope we stay away from as many Sunday 6pm and 9pm games on Sky this year... I've picked up the Game Pass HD for the week, and plan to go with either Game Pass or Game Pass HD for the regular season (once I've found out which will be better for the internet connection in the new house)... But won't be able to watch Sky 6/9pm games live... :(

I considered getting Sky Sports, but it'd cost something like £420 for the year (min. 12 months), so I figured I'd rather spend less, and get the games I really want!

Bloody good perfomance too, Just ask Carsons nose :smirk:.

I really thought we were gonna get slaughtered tonight, But at last the team went out there fighting and nearly pulled of a shocker of a result. Gutted we never made a play or two right at the end to pull of a win, But delighted we actually played a good game.
Laughed a little bit when one of the commentators got pulled up for saying 'pi ssed' a couple of times and later just mouthed the word sh!te, lol

Next week lets get a W

Somehow i dont think we'll be seeing this guy again lol

Great performance by the boys, really proud to be a Bengal this morning. We regained our pride after the first two weeks. We HAVE to win next sunday because this division is far from over. One team is coming out of this division and it will probably be 8-8 or dare i say it even 7-9.

Having seen all three games this season defensively we're definately and improvement. Sadly the lack of time together for the offense in pre season and training camp let us down the first two weeks but we finally seemed to click last night.

The season is not over yet!!

Oh dear

Last time we'll be on Sky for a while!!!!

On a side note Tony McGhee, the ex Bengal has been excellent, hopefully they'll use him more this season :-)

It's hard to believe this is the same team that played their hearts out last week. It was nice to have McGhee as a commentator, Shame he had to witness the same crap we did

Defensively there's a clear, if small, improvement. But offense is where the problems lie, very poor for 3 of the 4 games, the lack of preperation in training camp and pre season is hurting us...that said had Palmer played yesterday i have no doubt we would have won

Yeah thats a definate with it being a Thursday night. Week 5 and 6 have been decided so definately not on then. Maybe week 7 against the Steelers or maybe versus the Jags in week 9 possibly on the red button? Fingers crossed!!

Did you catch them tonight ? Dont think they were meant to be on, It's was only by chance i flicked it on, then went interactive and there we were, Looking sweet down 17-10 in the 3rd and driving up the field B).

Then Kaboom, Lost 21 points in the fourth and couldn't score a hooker in the red light district

:sux:

Then again, so do we at the moment :(

Got a phone call to say did i know the Bengals had been put on because of the problems with the Bills/Chargers game...i didnt so put it on straight away (this after paying to watch it on NFL gamepass!!)

Kinda was looking good up until putting it on...went downhill after that lol

Nice bonus though, cant see Sky featuring us much for the rest of the season now

I think its gonna be the last chance we see the Bengals live tonight this season,.....pretty sure we'll not be on Sky again for the rest of the year as they start to concentrate on the play off contenders....so make the most of it tonight in glorious HD!!! :-)

BTW for all you American's it will be about 4.30am when us Brits get to bed tonight and ive gotta be up at 7.30am for work....lol

Here's hoping it's a good one, I'm gonna be lazy and tape it, Then watch it in the morning. It would be nice if we can help foul up pittsburgh's chances of making the playoffs

mark4

Well at work barely 4 hours after the game has finished!!! Story of our season really...started well...defensively we've clearly improved...problem is the offense isnt good enough to stay on the field and by the 4th qtr the defence is wore out and they just collapse in the 4th......this defence coupled with offences from the last few years would have us as a v good football team....hopefully next year....

Cincy at Minnesota is live in the UK this coming Sunday, and we'll find out tomorrow about Week 15, 99.9% sure the Chargers game will also be live as nothing else competes in the 9pm (4pm ET) slot unless another game gets flexed there.

So Bengals live on UK TV 2 weeks in a row!!!

Our previous 2 live showings this season at Baltimore and Pittsburgh were both wins so we're a good luck charm!!

I feel sorry for my family, i made them sit through this game  I'll wait till next Sunday to tell them they have to watch that team play again, Hopefully by then they will have forgotten how bad the offense played.

From the kickoff and the opening drive we just played krap, I thought joseph was brilliant, But the offense was just diabolical, Cant type what i'd really like to call them, As it keeps getting sensored, lol

flip side of a winning season and Sky TV coverage is that I'm wasting money... extended my Sky TV coverage thru December to watch Min, SD plus I've already got NFL game pass for the season!!

Yeah ive got Gamepass season but it will come in useful for Kansas City and probably the Jets game unless Sky decide to show it if there's something on that game (i hope not!!!)
