Lot D parking question

Can anyone tell me how early I will need to get there to find a decent spot??? I've never tailgated before, at any lot, so I need any Info I can get. Got the parking pass today, just need to know what to expect.

There should be some info on the ticket when you get it.

Typically they do not open Lot D until 4 hours before the game. Since it is pass only you really don't have to get there very early as there is ALWAYS a spot for you.

A lot of the "lifers" in there have a "spot" that is pretty well known to be theres. I would find a spot in the middle and go for it
