Washington Redskins first round pick LaRon Landry has been sidelined from an off the field incident. The reason why I posting it, is because the incident was him getting shot in the family jewels by a paintball gun!! Respect your junk, and wear a cup!

I just read that. Man, that has to go right up there with Jake Plummer breaking his foot by cracking the kncukles in his toes as the weirdest injury ever.

I don't know. I think breaking your neck by headbutting the field goal post takes the cake.

Yeah, but at least theirs were on the field. They could always make the argument that they got hurt in the game and leave it at that. These two guys were off the field. I mean, how are you going to spin it to some hot chick that you're a football player on the injured list for getting hit in the dingleberries with a paintball?

At first when i read it a couple of days ago i thought he just got hit by a paintball and was hurt.. I was thinking to myself it really doesn't hurt that bad.. But i guess gettin hit in the jewels would make you miss a couple of practices..

Its not as bad as most would think. It hurts, but you recover a heck of a lot quicker than you do when a angry girl (aka my older sister) gives you a good swift kick. I never wore a cup when I was on a paintball team and I took my fair share of hits to the sensitive area but at worst it left me on the sidelines for 20 minutes.

I suppose it is harder for Landry to recover on account of him having to excercise intensely every day.
