I think they will already 3-0. Anyone agree or disagree?

Disagree their hardest schedule is at the end. Being held to only 3 points against Akron for a half really irks me.

I would love nothing more than to see the Buckeyes return to the NC game.
Lets see how the season plays out , esp against teams like WIS, PSU, MI.
After the poor performance all around from the Big 10 , I just dont see OSU jumping teams like USC & LSU , maybe strength of schedule.

But honestly , they dont compare to teams like USC ,LSU, OK .

They don't have to jump those teams, all they need to do is have them lose. Remember last year we were the only team undefeated going into bowl season.
It could happen, but it'll be a harder road than last year, not because of the schedule, but because of the talent we lost on offense.
On the upside, Robiskie looked a little like Ginn and Hartline has Gonzo's hands. They're young and Boeckman has another year of eligibility after this year. This could get very interesting.

Hence why I said I dont see us jumping those teams.
I dont see USC losing , yes they could , but not likely.
The only game I see LSU losing is to FL and Im hoping that doesnt happen.
Add these factors and the poor play of the Big 10 with strenght of schedule, I dont see us making that jump.
Maybe LSU can jump USC. :D
BUT , I would like to see it happen , nothing would make me happier.
OSU back in the NC game , FL get beat by LSU and USC lose.
Im just trying to be realistic here.
But hey , thats why they play the games . We'll see.
O-H !

I don't see it happening unless something mystical happens to USC. USC is going to just sit pretty with their cupcake schedule at number 1. LSU doesn't look like it will move either. The only challenge LSU has is Florida, but by that time it might be whomever wins between LSU vs Florida to take over number 2.
For once it would be nice to see two teams whom HAVEN"T been in the nation title game within the last 5 years go. Like say, I dunno, Rutgers and Cal. Just getting tired of these schools that are just always there... :-/ it's like the same game each year. More recently its just USC and [fill in blank]

I-O
I'm not convinced that both USC and LSU will make it through unscathed. USC usually trips up on at least one of their conference games. They have a good number of tough away games this year, and I think they are beatable. I think JDB is more hype than performance.
As for LSU, they could lose in the regular season or even in the SEC championship game.
It's not impossible, but I still think we should concentrate on the Big Ten title first.

If Ohio State wins the game in Happy Valley, they will be in the running.
Oklahoma plays Texas. One of them will drop out of the race.
Florida plays LSU. One of them will drop out of the race.
Add to the 2 left over from above USC and West Virginia.
Three of those teams need to lose while OSU keeps winning.
It happened in 2002. Will it happen again?
I hope so.

I am a huge Buckeyes fan and I just don't think that we have an offense that can compete with those teams right now.
Now next year.....I am really looking forward to seeing this squad come out...This will be a fun year but next year will be our NC run!!

Our offense will continue to improve as the season progresses. And the defense is good enough to keep us in every game.
