I don't think Rich looked bad at all. I think the problem was, Rich wanted to pick his shots and to not get to over aggressive because Okami has great takedowns. The problem with that fight was that Okami seemed to want nothing to do with Rich's strikes...he hardly ever did any counterstriking.
I agree that Guida got robbed...I have no idea how in the hell the judges scored that fight for Griffin. That fight was the best of the night IMO. Just an incredible display of all around MMA...wrestling, BJJ, boxing, Muay Thai....it had it all!!

Turk,
I know that I reported Matt Hamill would fight Michael Bisping...
I was wrong, it has changed.
Get ready for a laugh it will now be.
Ken Shamrock vs. Michael Bisping.
No Lie.
oh BTW Turk, you should join the Message Board Fantasy Football Draft.

You can't be serious???? What is Ken thinking??? Even if he wins, what does that prove??? He can't compete in the UFC anymore...we all saw what Tito did to him on more than one occasion....just weird if you ask me!

I saw that and I really really laughed.
I hope Ken wins to be honest.
Why? I really want to see Tito retire Ken once and for all.

I respect his fighting game, but as a person there is not one ounce of respect for him.
That UFC 75 is shaping up to be really good, I want to see Kongo vs. Cro Cop.

I think it is a shame that TUF made him look like an arse! I know that the Lions Den has always been well known for the conditioing of it's fighters. To even be a member of the Lion Dens you have to go through a try out and if they don't feel you work hard enough then you don't get to train there. That is what made me so puzzled about TUF and the way he trained his team.
I know Ken is a good guy and I will always cheer for the guy!

Ha I won't because the fact Tito and Ken had a rivalry (they aid it was burried, but I doubt that) and I of course am a big Tito fan. I am not taking anything away from Shamrock, during his time he was a complete fighter, and it would be an honor just to accomplish half of the things he did while in MMA, but as a person, I dispise him, I actually ran into him as a kid (11 years old) in Myrtle Beach California, me not knowing better saw him walking down the street went to go ask for his autograph, and he said "shoo kid, no autographs." Sure, that hurt a little, but just shows you Ken is a jerk.

I am not sure Pulver can pull it off! First of all, I don't think he will KO Penn. He has a tough chin and can take a beating. Second, I think BJ is more prepared for this fight than any he has had to date. I truly believe that BJ will make a run for the LW title!!

I don't know if BJ can stay at 155 much longer, they said he had a hard time staying down at 155. I think Sean Sherk honestly would beat him, I honestly do not see anyone beating Sean Sherk in that division. Joe Daddy is the only one who I think could beat Sean Sherk.

I think thats the only way Pulver will win is by knockout since Penn is the better submission fighter.

I see lots of people beating Sherk, I don't think he is that solid of a fighter, his stand up is ok..the best aspect of that is his defense, he ***** on his back. I think there are many fighters that have a great shot of beating him. I am hoping that Hermes beats him since he and Jorge have been friends since they were kids in Brasil!
The lackluster performances of Jens (even though I like him) doesn't lead me to believe that he can beat BJ. I guess we will see though!

I agree I think Jens (I like him as well) is past his prime, and has way too many lackluster performances, but hey I was the only one who thought Serra would beat GSP, and Serra had some bad showings himself, so you never know with that fighters punch. BJ might turn into Andy Wang and want to stand up and bang.

BJ has been known to like to stand and bang. He is probably the only guy I know that can take a serious arse kicking and come out looking like he never fought...he can some serious punishment. I am really looking forward to this fight...I like both guys and it would be an honor to train with either of them.
I do have to say that I have always wanted to train with BJ...his subs are sick and I want to know how the heck he became so flexible!

Hey Turk, remember us talking about David Terrell and where he has been? Well he is coming back into the UFC at 205 sometime by the end of this year.
Also Brandon Vera is talking about coming down to the LHW division.
Some cool stuff.
I would love to see David Terrell's first match at 205 to be against Lyoto Machida.
Also if Brandon Vera moves down to LHW I would love to see him take on Forrest Griffin or Houston Alexander, to create an exciting slugfest.

I am not sure why Vera would drop to LHW, he should stay ah HW and see what he can do there. His wife is on a reality show called Fight Girls on the Oxygen Network...it is about a bunsh of women that are competing to go to Thailand and fight a Muay Thai champion....they are all training right now under Master Toddy.
Gina Carrano is on there as an advisor..almost hard to watch, but I like watching Master Toddy and I will watch anything with Gina on it

BEcause Brandon Vera is getting way too cocky and he thinks he is better than anyone in that Heavyweight Division. He was even calling out FEDOR in one of his interviews.
He said "Liddell, Rampage, Hendo, Tito, Fedor, Slyvia, Wandy, I am not afraid of one of them I'll beat em."
A Little Cocky, even though he does not have a decent win under his belt.

I think Vera has the talent to beat anyone in the HW division in the UFC currently...Fedor, well..I just don't see anyone beinf able to stop him, but someone will soon enough! They all fall eventually.
Plus he has beaten Fabiano Scherner, your very own Frank Mir, Ausserio Silva, Justin Eilers and MIke Whitehead. Not bad for a guy that only has eight fights....I think it is time for the UFC to start promoting this guy and watch him climb to the top of any division he enters.

A.) He did not beat Frank Mir, he beat the Post Frank Mir
B.) If he was my own I would be demanding money and I would be a better mma fighter [:(]

Looking forward to seeing Shogun fight, I just hope that don't give him an easy opponent.
Where did you hear about Fedor signing????

Jens is a good guy, too bad he is past his prime. I got to meet Jens, Diaz and a couple of the other fighters after the fight. They were just walking around the Palms Casino and watching the replays of the fight. All the guys seemed very cool, taking pictures, signing autographs and talking to people.
Hopefully Jens can work on his ground game and be able to be a decent fighter again, but I doubt it...

Nah, wish I did though. I was there for my cousins BP and he's really not a big fan of MMA. Since I was there for him, I didn't want to ditch everyone to go watch the fight although a couple of the people were trying to convice him to go.
The deal breaker was the $180-$200 per person (Cheapest we could find) we would have had to pay to get in...

All I have to say is if you go to Vegas between Memorial day and Labor day, make sure to stop by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Sunday between noon and 6pm for Rehab (Rx).
There are more hot women there in next to nothing bikinis than on south beach (And when I mean hot, I mean hot like the ones at the UFC fight). Way out of my league, but I'm married so I'm just looking anyway...[:P]

Shogun Rua injured his knee and might actually be off the UFC 76 card.
Right now there is a rumor floating around that it will be Houston Alexander vs. Forrest Griffin.
Also David Heath will be taking on Babalu at UFC 74.

Just read the same stuff...I hope Babalu wins!!! I like the guy!!
Houston vs. Griffin would be good, although we have only seen a tiny bit of Houston...I hope he gets his head knocked off by Forrest...I think he is an idiot!!
I am upset about Shogun...he is one of my fav fighters and I am looking forward to his first octagon appearance....I do wonder how he plans on finishing fights without his nasty axe kick to the face though!!

Shogun might be able to compete at UFC 76 because his knee injury got looked at by a doctor and they called it not serious and Shogun is already training for his match.
