Watching the Palmer video and Marv's it seems Palmer may have more than just a sore elbow. Not too much speculation about this has been on the Smack section from Bengal fans.
Heard that Carson was going to seek out a noted Medical Doc who has exp. repairing elbows and shoulders??
Has any more been said about him?:hmm:
Like when (if it is true about seeking medical opinion) will he see this Doc?

Ummm... with the track record we have he will most likely have the arm removed as a precaution.

a kryptonite scalpel is required to operate on palmer, bengals' health insurance wouldn't cover it.

Palmer has stated at least 3 times now that it is not serious enough to require surgery and is just an inflammation that requires some time to heal.
The most recent was yesterday afternoon:
"Carson Palmer reiterated Monday that his inflamed elbow doesn't need surgery and while he says he's preparing to play Sunday in Dallas, head coach Marvin Lewis said the Bengals are preparing like backup Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to start."
here is a little more information:
Palmer said, "It's definitely getting better. They've got me on a good rehab program. I'm trying to get it stronger. Hopefully it will get better day by day."
If Palmer played any other position, the word is he could play with the injury. If the injury was to his left elbow, he could play quarterback. His modality includes ice and hot packs, electrical stimulation, and massages.
"I'm preparing to play and start until I get word from the doctors. If they don't want me to play, I won't play," he said. "It's not correct. It's not 100 percent."

Yes, I think he is going to need surgery and I think he will be out for the season. TJ mentioned this O seems like a first year O leaving me to believe more work is being done with the backups then is being led. Hard to say though.

Thats the correct phrase out for the season. Missing the season don't work.
Palmer may be out for the season, but the way the bengals are playing I highly doubt he will miss it.

He may or may not but I heard that marvin is definitly having surgery.
He is going to the hospital because the proctologist called and informed him that they found his head!

That is an interesting spin on that because I took that to mean the simplicity of the plays and the lack of imagination when it comes to playcalling is that of a youthful offense.
