Glenn Dorsey, an LSU DT who was expected to be a Top 20 pick in April has decided to stay in school. Dorsey, 6'2 286, was rated on my rankings as the #2 Defensive Tackle behind Michigan's Alan Branch. Dorsey will be one of the top ranked players going into the 2008 NCAA season.

My Rankings have been updated accordingly.

Good....another undersized DT we won't have to pass on

My rankings now have you as an undrafted college FA who won't be picked up by an NFL club. Get ready to try to sell cars and make the most out of your name in your hometown.
Translation: Stop stealing other sites rankings....

hahahahaha First time I've ever been accused of stealing a site's rankings. I do most of my rankings and work in school, where I don't get access to a computer. I do a lot of work on the Draft and wouldn't waste my time copying rankings and playing them off as my own, too much of a hastle, why not just give you a link?
I guess all my opinions are those of other sites...I guess I post here as a robot, just giving you online scout's opinions. That makes a lot of sense.
I don't claim to be Mel Kiper, I don't claim to be Mike Mayock, I claim to be a high school student with a great interest in the draft and I know it's something I want to get into one day, whether it be as a scout, or a writer.
I'd be cheating myself by stealing my work from others. These are my real dreams, they have been for a few years, and I'm very serious about them. So it's natural for me to be a bit offended when I am accused of stealing work from someone else. Those scouts worked hard to get to where they are today, just as I will, it'd be a great disrespect to them and to my own dreams to steal work from others.
I have given examples time after time of how much I work on the draft, which is a lot to do considering I still have to deal with school, swimming, and basketball. I put in hours upon hours last year, and will do the same this year. If you do not like to read my posts, don't. I'd rather have just the people that support me and my dreams read my work.

No it isn't. You have been accused on this board of the same thing, and quite frankly the people who did accuse you are correct.

If you find Rankings the exact same as mine, let me know. But feel free to look over my rankings and question me on them. If I don't answer, or don't have a good answer then you can say you are right. If not, you are wrong. I didn't copy my rankings, and if you weren't stubborn and you read what I had to say above you'd know why. Bottomline: if you don't want to read them, don't, no one is holding a gun to your head.
I post them for the people who would like to see them, talk about them, and the people who support me.

Listen, I have seen your "rankings" and "insight' on other message boards, as have others on this board, everyone who has is in agreement. Passing off others information as your own is not accepted on here which is why this is being brought up.
As you can see I am not the only Admin on here that notices this:

Insight is insight. I have my opinions, and they are just that my opinions. My Bengals Draft Database last season took hours and was probably my prized work here. As I said, if you find that on ANY other site, I will definitely leave here. Until then, you really have absolutely no proof, you have "similarities", not proof, similarities. So, I will continue posting here, you are entitled to your own opinion so if you don't like my posts, don't read them. It's simple. Or, better yet, if you can prove plagarism, please go ahead and do so.

You first said no one had ever questioned you before me, but then you can easily see that Joe had questioned the same aspect, and in fact you replied to it before you replied to this. So obviously I was not the only one questioning that aspect of your analysis.
Plagiarism is hard to prove, but easy to spot, believe me I spent several years of my life doing just that. What is great about these online rankings and pre-draft scouting breakdowns is that you can mix and match several of them and make it look as if you spent days working on it. That isn't the only fun thing about this particular format, another is that there are so many draft forums that people can get away with taking certain... liberties. After last years draft plagiarism became an issue and we decided that this year it will be watched much closer. One common misconception is that plagiarism has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, that simply is not true. Plagiarism is something that is nearly impossible to prove, in reality all it takes is several questionable excerpts from one author that closely resemble anothers work. I am sure that you knew that plagiarism inquiries are normally followed up by an investigation into an authors work to see if it is possible that they had stolen another authors work.
We are simply carrying out a stricter policy on this issue this draft season.

I'm sorry, but I'm not aware that there was a plagarism problem here last year or in years before. I guess all I can do is assure you that I do my own work. I read scouting reports and get a lot of my knowledge of players by reading scouting reports, just like everyone else. They are very useful in some cases, learning the specifics of a player's game. However, I also do my own analysis while watching games and I, like many scouts, play favorites a bit.
I would get nothing out of copying rankings, a complete waste of time. If you think I do, ok, I know I don't and so do many others.

I already have all the proof I need. Credit your source from now on, or don't post here.
