I Was watching a recruiting show for football and they said Terrelle Pryor the top ranked qb and #1 ranked prospect in the country really likes our program. He plays both qb in football and sf in basketball. he is quoted to really like our coaching staff and likes that both can compete for a title. They said he narrowed it down to 5-6 schools but is most likely to end up at West Va. or Ohio St. If that happens how bright does are future look.Forgot to mention that he is a duel threat like Troy Smith.

A "duel" threat?

He might shoot someone?

Sorry, I had to do it. :)

He really liked PSU, but they don't have a basketball team.

I heard that he's more advanced than Vince Young was coming out of HS. This kid is special and I would love to get him.

I would love to get him but I am not a huge fan of this mobile QB, dual threat stuff. I have no idea why but I prefer the pure passer. Don't get me wrong....if he can help to win us a NC then I am all for it....just not what I like!

Probably because Pure passers have more of a tendency to be more grounded. I find that a lot of mobile guys try to be the team by themselves and they don't work within the realms of the rest of the team. I was happy to see Troy start to work with the team his senior year. He really grew into the role of leader and threw first and ran second. Most QBs don't do that, they run first and throw second.

Besides, we have a Pocket Passer named Carson Palmer, and I hear he's pretty good, so that might spoil you a bit h aha ha.

Very true!!! I hate that they try to do way to much and end up making mistakes.

Can make defense sorry for being to aggressive and opens up running lanes by making the defense stay in their lanes. Plus tressels ability to instill disipline and ability to teach and not yell at them like some coaches is a plus. Look how troy turned out. He only used it when it was nessissary or when it was designed that way.

I completely agree. I think it's because he's the QB, not the RB. Play your position. Hitman had a good point with the attitude thing, too.

He's also 6'6 235 and mobile? That's not Troy Smith. Thats a slightly smaller Daunte Culpepper

just another example of a great QB coming out of Pittsburgh.......

(on a side note, im a huge PSU fan - i went there - but with the offense we run part of me wants him to NOT go there because i dont think he'll be able to show what he can really do. like poor derrick williams with our wretched QB).
