I just watched his interview, and I must say that he is one baby faced kid. He has the youngest look and a pretty high voice...it's funny that he is one of the best O linemen from the draft. It just makes it seem like he will be playing for a while. He looks and sounds like he could have just come from high school. lol
But he is gonna be a manly RT and maul people. With Whit (a high school state tennis champ...he's athletic) on the left and Smith on the right, Carson will be sitting pretty all year!

It's like Troy Polamalu, if you've never seen him play you would he's one of the softest guys ever, his voice is so soft.
And then once he's on the field it's over, he'll kill you.

Mike Tyson as well. As is Rey Maualuga, He seemed pretty soft spoken to me, given his reputation.

He looks just like the center for my high school team this year. He is baby-faced and has chubby cheeks, but they are both mean and nasty on the field. Erick got first team all state this year too...hopefully Andre does something just as good this year!

When I saw him next to Bobbie Williams today he looked small. I know Bobbie's a big man, but I thought Andre was gonna be bigger.

Walter Payton had a high voice, too.
So did Mike Tyson.
Let's hope and pray Andre patterns himself similar to the former rather than the latter. :nervous:

that's a lot of pounds on the right side of the line. I'm getting excited about our run game.

They have just as much weight on the Left side as well. We are going to move some piles.

Great interview but:
he's back with Keels again by the looks of things! I think he's playing us a little bit by getting Smith (the nice guy) before the draft and then going back to Keels, i expect a long holdout personally!!!!

they should have kept levi till the rookie signed, when they drafted justin smith they kept J. copeland then cut him when justin smith started playin. even way back then I tought it was a low move.
side note john copeland was a better player I tought than smith, But they both had 2 hits i'll never forget justin on tb qb that was flageed for being to awsome, and when copeland clothslined kordell right thru the line and squished him.
one more note about copeland, went to a big fan thing back when they were working for a new stadium and copeland just stood in the middle of the whole thing and signed everybodyelses autographs I thought it was very kool.

LOL I would be too if I was getting ready to sign a contract like the one he will be getting!

Nothing really to worry about, I think we'll have him signed on time ;) and if not we have another young Tackle that can play until he gets in.

:tiger: ...and this is why I thought we should've taken a different Tackle at #6!!
Maybe I'm wrong, but shouldn't signability be considered in with draftability??

I still cannot believe we passed on the better tackle, and a left tackle at that at six for a right tackle. You NEVER do that in the NFL.
But that's for another day.

Maybe they thought Whitworth was better than Monroe? I know Whitworth's Knees are in better shape.

One of the reasons they drafted him was because his agent was Smith. He had a record for quick deals.

John Copeland is awesome. His stats aren't anything big, but he;s one of my favourite players ever, I love the guy.
