I am needing a RB and Have two great TEs.

I offered TE Tony Gonzalez and RB Chester Taylor for TE L.J. Smith and RB Clinton Portis

I wouldn't accept that trade. I've always felt that TE's are over-rated. L.J. Smith can put up decent numbers and Portis is way more valuable than Taylor.

I would take that trade as well. Smith will just be a bye week player. Whitten will be your everyday starter.

The RB situation in Washington is crazy, but you're offering Chester Taylor...
Isn't he on the injury report? Is this a keeper league?

Chester was hurt in week 1 but has been back the past couple of weeks. Not a keeper league.

I just gave up my back up to Peyton Manning, Worthlessburger, to get Dallas Clark. Clark was a huge upgrade to my lowly Owen Daniels TE. That's the 7th best QB to get the 3rd best TE in my league. I guess that I'm saying that I'm not afraid to make the moves that I need to win. I would take that deal if the math worked out, but I know why people wouldn't...it just doesn't look good. It's something you've got to put up with in FF.

I never did have much luck with TE's,but if I had my way it would be a flex wr/te deal because there is barely a handful of te's worth a darn.
