No kidding. Maybe Carson Palmer throws too hard for Laveranues Coles to hang on! :smirk: Seriously, though, this thread needs to be here and I am going to say something that may get me flamed:

TJ Houshmandzadeh would have caught those passes.

Laveranues Coles is obviously a terrific route runner because, after all, Carson kept throwing to him because he got open more often than not. Unfortunately, Laveranues reacted to the ball like Dracula reacts to a cross! I bet Carson and Laveranues practiced together a lot this week.

I think it's time to dress Jerome Simpson and get him some sorely needed reps this week. The man can catch anything thrown his way.

That guy couldnt catch herpes!Funny stuff, but I still think he can be a great reciever for us. Maybe it's his timing with Palmer? He's been a big star ever since he's been in the NFL. & his stats rival Chad's numbers, while playing with sub-par QB's-(compared to Carson Palmer) Chad Pennington was his best ever QB, & he's not even near Carson.

The fact that Simpson isn't even dressing for games is evidence of the abject failure of the pick. A second rounder who can't even get on the field. If he were good enough, he'd be out there. He clearly isn't the answer.
