Why was 18 sec. put back on the clock? We never took a TO and shouldn't the clock have started once the ball was spoted?

Also was it just me or did the Refs blow the whisle to soon on the catch and strip that would have lead to a Bengal TD before the half. Man we got screwed on that play.

All and all we should have won this game by at least 2 TD's but that is what you get when you let a bad team hang around the whole game. We blew it big time! Horrid playcalling on offense cost us the game today. Wins are hard to come by in this league, we can't afford to givem' away.

This freaken' game today can cost us the season once it's all said and done. Hell it may already be done.

I'm so GD mad! Everyone envolved should be embiressed for this lose today.

Apparently we did in fact call timeout after the pass to Caldwell at the goalline. The officials said they wouldn't charge the timeout because they were going to review the play, but then when there was no change to the play they charged the timeout.

I think the "catch and strip" seemed like an incomplete pass, as called by the officials. He just didn't have the ball long enough for it to be considered a completed catch.

I'm pretty sure they got the call right, there should have been 28 secs. on the clock. However, my understanding was that once the next play was run, it was too late to correct the previous error.

I would not be embarrased about this loss. Yeah we lost to a team that is worse than us, but I am not saying that we are a bad team. That was a miracle that Stokely was able to catch that ball but either way I have to give the man props for being that aware of the situation. Our D played well enough to keep our lackluster offense in the game. I don't necessarily think the play calling was bad either on O but the penalties and drops is what killed the drives! Coles dropped way too many passes and when Ocho was making catches and good gaines they were getting called back. That "push off" of Champ was questionable at best. I'm starting to think that the NFL players are taking acting lessons in the offseason so when situations like that arise they can make a simple touch look like a huge push, Baily sold that "pushoff" great and thats why it got called. Not having Henry in on offense killed us too, i'm not saying he is the key to winning or that one guy can make the team but in pre-season he was sure nice to have on the field. I fully expect our team to be fired up by this going into GB and if our D plays as well as they did and barring any more miracle catches I think our O will show up and bring us a huge win in GB. The Bengals are my team and whether they win or lose they will always have my support!

Ugh it all makes me sick.. Still cant believe we lost in that fashion! Although I do really believe that was a interception by J Joe that should have ended the game. It should have really been reviewed. But besides that there shouldnt be any excuses there should have been a safety extra deep 50 yards is one thing but 87 is a little bit more . I thought your always looking for the deep ball in that sitiation why a cover 2 and why is everyone so close to the line of scrimmige? Man i still wanna puke!

hang in there for q while... I think they showed they are a better team then last year when they lost to the ravens. there is a good posibility that if the defence takes this style of play to GB that can win and that would be awesome!!!
