We all know the Bengals could use a bigger threat at Tight end. We def need one in the red zone and on 3rd down. I would absolutely love to see Fred Davis land in Cincy. I am a bit of a homer. He went to high school a few miles from my house. He played wide out then. He can run. And he is big. Coates has shown some promise but if Davis is there I don't think Cincy can afford to pass on him.

On a side note I was hoping Joe Newton from Oregon State was going to show up in camp as an UFA this past offseason. Oh well

i was thinkin more of that rucker guy, cant remember his first name, but he should be available in the 2nd or 3rd rather than a potential first rounder

Martin Rucker I believe the TE out of Mizzu?

Here is my short list of TE's that we could use.

Fred Davis
Travis Beckum (if he decides to come out)
Jacob Tamme
Martin Rucker

There's a guy out of Marshal also. No. 88 I believe but I know he would have to come out early. This guy is a monster.

Beckum is a very good play. I just don't know if he is big enough to play TE in the NFL

I think Coates will be plenty fine as are pass receiving TE. Carson is just learning how to use him and he is trying to learn I do not think we will draft a TE in less this is not an opportunity that we can not pass on. I would love to see a great receiving TE though we would then have the best offense by far.

I'm not a big follower of college ball but I had basically targeted the same list of guys for us. Davis looks probably the best of them. I'd jump through the roof if we got one of these guys. I think we should make the TE spot a priority, IF, Coats or Reggie don't prove more effective in the receiving game.

That's a guy I was looking at also. Cody Slate, I believe? He's has like 4 TDs already and averages nearly 13 YPG.
