I am not giving up on this team I think the team will be better than what the record shows I think their record will be 7-9 yes I know that does not sound good but i am predicting playoffs next year.

The first step is to rework the Coordinators Chuck needs to go we need to totally rework the D Coordinators the only person I would be okay with keeping is the DB coach. The offense does not need much help it is the thing that is keeping us in games.

Defense

D-Line- we need some work on the line. I think Justin Smith is a great player for the fact that you know what you are going to get and he never gives up on a play but the money that we would have to spend on him is not worth it. I also think we should let go John Thorton. So i think next year we have to let him go. So I hope that we would go after Terrel Suggs or Albert Haynesworth( i think he is past all of his past problems. If we can not get any of them then we have to draft a player. I like Glenn Dorsey but if we go 7-9 then i think we should draft Sedrick Ellis. We need Robert Geathers to play End not Linebacker.

Linebacker - I do not know exactly what to do here there does not seem to be any great LB in free-agent so we have to hope for a great LB in the draft or some people to play great. I think we should resign Landon he is the best LB we have. I hope Odell can return and play with the attitude that are D needs. If we pick a LB in the first round i think it all depends what kind of Juniors come out on who we should pick but right now i do not see any great LB in the draft.

Secondary- If Mike Doss does not get resigned by the Colts I do not care how much money he wants we pay him. If he gets resigned i think Dexter is doing fine and gives us veteran leadership so he is fine. I do not think we need to change are Secondary much but we need to try to deal O'neal he is not what he used to be and we need a solid nickel corner.

Offense

O-line- The line needs to really just gel together again. We have to resign Andrews he is the future RT. We need to decide what to do with LT I say keep Levi there. We will not be able to trade for him nobody is going to want to pay him the money we are in less he starts playing great and if he start playing great we have to keep him.

QB- okay I hate Carson he is the worse QB we have ever had jk we do not need to do anything at QB maybe let fitzpatrick go and save some cap.

RB - If we have a bad season and pick really early in the draft and have a chance at picking Darren McFadden then we have to take him and trade Rudi for another draft pick. Sorry i love Rudi but Mcfadden is like Tomlison maybe not as good but with are offense could make us the best in the League. If we can not draft him then we see what we can resign Chris Perry for and go from there. We need to pray no injuries here.

WR - We do not need to do anything here just hope that Chris Henry does not do anything stupid.

TE - Coates will be an okay receiving TE and thats all we need out of him. Kelly is the best blocking TE in the league.

If we can do some of what i said we could go 12-4 with no problem. I would love to hear what anybody has to say about this and any people we should draft next year. I do not what enough college football to know how is good and who is not.

If I were the GM I would...

Release:
Justin Smith
Bryan Robinson
Caleb Miller
Dan Santucci
DeDe Dorsy
Herana-Daze Jones
Glenn Holt
Jonathan Fanene

Resign:
Kyle Larson
Landon Johnson
Stacy Andrews
Madieu Williams
Alex Stepanovich
Courtney Roby
Blue Adams

Cut:
John Thorton
Deltha O'neal

Offer Contracts to:
Rashad Jeanty
Tab Perry
Ryan Fitzpatrick

And in the Draft I'd take the best available defender with my first two picks, with focus on the front 7, and then the best player available on either side of the ball from there on out. It's too early to start naming names.

It is never to early to start to think and scouting for the draft thats why some many teams have scouting teams for that exact reason so the coaches do not have to look. I do know that all this will probably change but i am just saying people i like now. Why get ride of Glenn Holt though? Is it becausae he fumbled the ball? people are holding that against him but he is still young. Should we cut Carson because he has thrown some interceptions at the end of the game? I do not think we need to resign Ryan Fitzpatric. I am not a big fan of having three WR but if we do i do not have a problem with that. Other than those two things I do not see a problem with what you said.

I think you should add Chris Perry to the cut list as he hasn't done anything for us and he's been hurt every year.

I can't argue with that

He's been out so long I can't imagine that he is anywhere close to the player we drafted; not that I think he was all that good to begin with.

And I personally think it's too early to start the mock drafts as fans, not too early for the Bengals to scout. It's really not worth getting serious about the draft until after the college season and all the underclassmen have declared, and not to mention the combine and pro days.

Young guys aren't bad, but if they're not ready for the show the they need to be on the practice squad, not the the 53 man roster. We'd have CJ, TJ, Perry, Henry?, and Green as our WRs and if we need Holt due to injury/suspension we can grab him off the PS (if he's still PS eligible). We keep Fitz only until Rowe is a capable back up, plus a good back up QB isn't a terrible thing to have.

Somebody would sign Glenn Holt if we tried to put him on the practice squad. I believe that Rowe as the ability to be are number two QB

Fair enough, and for the record I don't blame Holt for the fumble...

I blame the coaching staff, the should have told him before the kick off: "Now Glenn, don't take this the wrong way but, just field this kick get what you can and then get down. It's not that we don't have faith in your abilities, but we have a great offense and all we need is a field goal. So keep two hands on the ball and keep it safe" I know that didn't happen, and like I said it wasn't Glenn's fault for trying to make something happen.

I think we'd keep Fitz over Rowe if we only keep 2 QBs, we did give up a draft pick for Fitz. I'd rather we keep both, and at least Wright and Johnson are gone finally.

I say let go of Fitzpatrick, and sign Jamie Martin. He is a veteran, can play back up QB, and he can help Rowe develop for a year or 2, and then leave when Rowe becomes the back up QB.
