Why is it that sometimes we have to wait four or five days in between articles on the website? I know it is the offseason but come on! Will Robert Geathers be able to be an every down defensive end? How is Landon Johnson handling the offseason aquisition of Ed Hartwell? Who will be the starting Left Guard between Whitworth and Andrews? How does Kiewann Ratliff feel about another great spring that probably will end up in less playing time this year? Not to mention the contract problems with Justin Smith and Deltha O'Neil. Those are just some of the things I would like to hear about going into training camp in a couple of weeks but we're lucky to get 3 new stories per week. At the very least answer a new question everyday instead of a couple of times a week. I am not trying to come down on Mr. Hobson because I know he is pretty much a one man show but maybe the website could use a couple more writers????? The best part of my day is logging onto Bengals.com and reading the great articles and the worst part of my day is logging in and seeing the same article I saw 4 days ago.

I know what you mean but it is the slowest time of year in the NFL.
I remember going to another message board back in the late 90's when everyone on their complained about the Bengals not even having their own web site (there was a guy on there who I think was named Craig S who was a classic glass always half empty guy). I believe the Bengals were the last NFL team to have their own web site so I guess it could always be worse...

You can't make news... they can only write articles when they have something to write about, and they have(meaning Hobson) harped on almost all of the subjects numerous times. It is completely unnecessary to ask Johnson what he thinks about Hartwell because being the player he is, Johnson will just say that he is happy as long as the team performs well, and he is going to get his playing time anyways. As for Ratliff, who cares how he feels about him having a great spring. He feels great about it, that should be obvious, and unless he actually plays well in the season... it really doesn't matter.Articles can be written only when there is something to be written about, and of those subjects Hobson has said what he knows about 3 of them and the other 2 are irrelevant.

Back in the 90's the only choices for Bengals fans were "is the glass half empty or completely empty".

As for filling in the space between articles, that is what the message board is for. When there is no "news" we manufacture something to discuss. The only real issue to discuss at this time is the Bengals possible activity in the supplemental draft. All the threads on that are over in the "draft forum".

I agree completely. I log on every day only to find the same old stories. It needs to be updated evryday. More writers is a great idea.
