I think we can beat the Patriots which is a good chance we'd get them in the divisional round. I figure if we make it, it'll be 6th seed against either the Texans, Broncos or Raiders in the first round, I like our chances against any of those teams. Then we'd probably get the Pats who will probably have the #1 seed and if we can knock Brady around enough, which I think we're capable of, and put up some points, which AJ and the boys can certainly do against that weak defense, we might mess around and make the AFC title game probably against the winner of a Pitt v. Ravens divisional round game.

They need a playoff system. I love bowl season, but there are too many. UCLA actually got a waiver to get in if they lost PAC 12. They did and still get a berth at 6-7. Boise ranks higher in the BcS and yet they don't go to a BcS game because.....I don't know.

The only reason they won't do a playoff game is because bowl games bring in A LOT of money for the teams playing. I think they should make bowl games with the playoffs, like one round be the Rose Bowl, another game would be the Orange Bowl, ect. But that makes too much sense

I think with so much young talent, that a different kind of coach and style of coaching is needed. I appreciate what Marvin has done for us, but it may indeed be time for a change. I just don't think it will happen until his contract expires after the 2013 season.

In my Madden draft I got Hosley with the first pick I had and the one from the Raiders I got the Highest ranked guard. Can't remember his name. (Something like Ogelsby?) But both are great in Madden. In round 2 I got a S named Tate from Maryland I think? He is pretty good. I had 2 3rd rounders and I somehow got Blakmon and another OG there. Ended up being a pretty awesome draft. I also got a RB named Vic Ballard and he was a perfect Benson style replacement.

Joe was one of the original founders of the Bengals Message Boards. He had been a member since 2005 and served as a Moderator for several years before stepping down. He was pretty well liked, but was also pretty opinionated and was known for his progressively dour outlook. He just got banned from the boards today for something that he wrote.

I think we all knew it was still there, but it was nice to not think about it for a while. I think this round of it is magnified by the fact most of those who are so angry about the team right now expected to be able to vent their frustration over 17 weeks of the regular season, so a lot of it was pent up while the Bengals jumped out to a 6-2 start. It was just a matter of time before they exploded. I think we all knew this team - though better than most expected - wasn't going to go far enough to stop that from happening.

Agreed. I guess it's slightly depressing, really, because this team has a lot of talent. However people overlook that by a loss or a few bad games. It does seem that those who expected this team to be the worst team in the league are starting to implode the message board with all their hate and such. It has been a good season, not completely successful, but it's also not finished. I still have hope they win the Super Bowl. I have that hope every year until they're for sure out :thumbsup:

I got kicked off the Saints board a while back actually a few weeks ago cause they were talking smack about the Packers. I just responded by saying how did you guys do against the Rams? A day later I went to log on and they banned me. That IMO isn't bannable. I was just sticking up for my team.

I got eliminated last weekend in one league but the other league I barely made it in. I lost in the first round last weekend by 6 points mostly because Nicks didn't score a touchdown for the Giants. I had Rodgers and Nelson in that league but this other league I have Big Ben, Gore, Foster as my backs, A.J. Green, Lance Moore and Nicks as my receivers. I also have Hernandez as my tight end. I think I have a good shot to win it all in this league cause I have been putting up over 100 points every week.
