The teams I see who could draft Richardson before us are the Jets, Browns, Rams (If they finally get a replacement for Jackson), and Seahawks if they lose Lynch. All teams have some bigger fish to fry

Jets have Green. I don't like him but are they ready to take another 1st round RB?

Browns could take him.

I do not see the Rams taking him. They need a WR way more. They could though I suppose.

Unless this new Mike Brown steps up and takes a CB this year. It's a very deep draft for CBs. There are 3rd and even 4th rounders who are being considered #1s within a couple of hears.

What I expect is that if we take an early CB, he won't see much playing time his rookie year.

I fear Alexander will want to stick with our crappy guys. I love Bobbie Williams but he is done and Livings has to be replaced. Perhaps Bolling can step up but we need to get a early OG.

Or an OT that can move to OG. Are there any that fit that mold this season?

I'm hoping Alexander is done here. I'm sick of his mentality on hating pure guards.

Bobbie and Livings are free agents and Hobs has hinted that Bobbie won't be re-signed. I'd love to see Boling pan out, but he has work to do.

As for OTs kicking inside, Cordy Glenn is the best known one. Kelechi Osmele from Iowa State is another.

I got to see multiple Stanford games and he looks like the real deal. It was against Washington where I watched him pancake a DT with one arm.

That's right. He took his guy down with a one arm punch.

As of this moment I believe Arizona and Dallas are the two teams ahead of us that seem like legit options. Then there's the potential for trade ups. I believe Tennessee is a legit threat especially since they don't need to trade up much to get in front of us. Hell, New Orleans may trade up to replace Nicks.

Work stress is some of the worst, I feel for you brother. I think it's among the worst because you feel helpless. If it's troubles at home, school, etc, you usually have more control over outcomes. At least (it sounds like) you'll have an option to stay or go. For what it's worth a lot of people don't have that option, so that's a silver lining. Hang in there man.

Work stress is horrible. Many here know I have Bi-Polar disorder. The stress of my last job was so extreme I had to quit because it was making me more sick. I was more and more depressed to the point I was calling in sick every couple of weeks. I started to have suicidal thoughts and had to force myself out of bed. My coworkers told me they were worried about me because I didn't seem like I was doing well. So I left my job and am living off money I saved while I was working. Thank goodness for the VA compensation I get or I would be screwed. I want to work again and I apply for jobs, I just need the right job that won't interfere with my illness.

Indeed. Because if you are not sure you are going to be somewhere then you start freaking out about what to do next and so on. Oh well, just a bad time and it will pass. Who knows, could be for the best or the changes could be a good thing.

My advice is to go ahead and start looking for a job. I don't know what you do, but finding a job can take months and if you find yourself out of work, and haven't started the process your stress level will be worse.

What's more is that if you start the process now and find a better job than you have, then bonus. And if you find that job while things are still unsettled at work, then you can leave on your terms. If things work out at the old place, well good for them. Right now you have no control over the situation. Go take some control is my adive!

There's definitely reason to be concerned. It actually comes off as a legit concern.

Although I expected this kind of year from Hillis minus the off the field drama.

Honestly, Tebow is probably the best option to break the curse. If God himself succumbs to it, then there will be a statue of John Madden made out of marble in my front yard.

Oregon was the only school that offered him a chance at being a QB. I know it takes only one NFL team, but I don't see it with Thomas. He's battled poor decision making his entire time, on and off the field. He's got one hell of an uphill battle ahead of him.

It doesn't make sense to me. Teams will sometimes see if they can offer up anything at QB, at least for gadget plays. It's not like they want you to completely forget the position. The only hold out who got drafted around his projected range was Seneca Wallace and that's because Holmgren loved him.

I think it will end up being Coyle and we just hire another DB coach. If they look on the outside, Del Rio would probably be the front runner with his connections to Marvin
But Coyle was blocked from interviewing for the DC position in Philly last year, I believe. So he's the likely heir apparent

You would think a gaurd or 2 would be a major priority, even more so if we let Livings walk.

But I'm starting to think we might have more then just a few holes to fill. Like RB, WR "if Simpson goes", CB, OG, DT "if Sims isn't brought back, and S is still a concern as well.

Thats at least 4 or 5starting roles, and a few rotatinal roles. The more I see it the more I see we will have no choice but to land a few big names in FA, and have a solid draft.

If we could lure Sims back find ways to sign Nicks and Finnegan then it really opens up the draft. Also I 'm sure we could find Simpsons replacement prety easy through FA as well.

And who knows what we will do in free agency. We have been going after larger names in the last few years. But there is always the chance we blow it like we normaly do.

I'm honestly thinking we won't take a guard in the first despite who's there. It just seems like something we'll do. Just sit back and take another mid round pick and have him compete with Boling and some unimpressive FA signing.

I think we will sign some of our guys back. And we have been trying in FA as of late. Remember we went after Gallery and we signed Lutui but he was fat. Then we also had Whitner but he punked us. So I hope we get some guys to fill some of our holes. There are a ton of FA out there this season.

Nicks allows us to do so much more in the draft. We could add a stud CB, game changing RB, add to our DL, a WR to help take pressure off AJ, or add another OL to help Dalton.

.

If we got Nicks I would rather get someone else depending on who is there. We do have a lot of needs and Nicks would be a stud. We could get a OG later or even go with Boling on one side.

I doubt we get Nicks but it would free us up to take a Stud CB, and RB in the first.

I am going NYG/Pats the rematch.

Even though I watched Alex Smith play great I still doubt him. Lol. That SF defense is great though.

Rainey and Harnish are mid rounders right now. Rainey was the 2nd leading rusher in the country, I believe. He's a shifty guy who has no problem going at hits. Harnish is a spread QB, but he is very smart. He will need some time to adjust to a pro system, but I'm all for having him as a developmental backup. Against Arkansas State, he stayed in the pocket and actually made his reads instead of bolting for a scramble.
