I wouldn't be thrilled, but we all know that Mike Brown loves to give 2nd+ chances for people. It doesn't matter how Marvin feels, as we've seen with the Henry situation. I know Truck is always talking about how awesome Odell was in the UFL, since that means he's ready to come back. I would hope that we wouldn't take an endorsement from Chuck Bresnehan seriously, but we probably will. Then JN will be filled with people saying how Odell will be the man from day 1.

You could sign odell to a 2 year min deal or one year if your really worried cut ties if he doesnt work out hed be an excellent backup in case of injury...
but all i have to say about it is if he gets reinstated and can still play at a good level and the bengals dont try and work him out of give him a shot after carring him for 2 years on suspended list ill be pist (just because if any team should get value out of him it should be us )
and if we dont go after him he'll end up in steeler or raven land

Odell's fate would most likely be up to Zimmer. He views Rey as our MLB of the future, so would he be willing to keep him at SAM or would we try to move Odell over? I don't see Zimmer being on board with bringing Odell back, and I'm sure Marvin wouldn't be too thrilled with the whole deal.

apearently he played Will Backer in the UFL now i know we are set there.. unless one of them can play Sam or Odell could back up Sam. with rey moving to the middle

i was wonder because everyone seems to want iupati in the first (well alot anyways) but from what i read hes a raw run blocker and is limited on his pass protection. and speedy DT's just tear him up. as well as not playing against great compition on a regular baises.
But this Guy from the Alabama Red Tide looked to be a better fit for us.
Mike Johnson, Alabama
Height: 6-5. Weight: 306.
Projected 40 Time: 5.20.
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
1/17/10: An AP First-Team All-American, Mike Johnson is my No. 1 guard for zone-blocking teams.
2/10/09: A major reason for Alabama's return to glory. Mike Johnson was voted to the All-SEC Second Team. He started every game, 12 at guard and one at left tackle.
7/28/08: The bookend tackle across from Andre Smith, Mike Johnson started every game as a sophomore. Johnson seems like he would be a better fit as a guard at the next level.
and hes versital hes played RT / LT and G i wanna draft according to scheme.
1/31/10: While Mike Iupati was solid in run-blocking, he was completely abused in pass protection by Geno Atkins. Iupati was beaten numerous times, was called for holding once, and should have been whistled for holding two other times. Let's not get carried away and call Iupati the best offensive lineman in the 2010 NFL Draft, like Mike Mayock did before the Senior Bowl. Iupati is a tremendous run-blocking guard who is raw in pass protection.

Yeah, the first time I was out there was Mid December, and I only wore a fleece to the airport in Columbus despite it being damn cold. I just didnt want a heavy arse coat in Tempe, and when my buddy picked me up, he was wearing a hoodie, so i figured that I was dressed appropriately. The next night we go out, and after about 10 minutes, I realize that I have no need for a fleece, it was so nice. Jeans and Tshirt weather.

I wouldn't be surprised to Carroll go for him, but he would have to keep him at safety. Seattle already has their OLBs set for a while with Hill and Curry. They need to get an OT to protect their QB, and I won't be surprised to see one of their firsts or second round pick used for a QB.
I can't see Suh falling out of the top 3. A lot of people have him going to the Rams, but if Spags opts to go with a franchise QB, then Suh goes to Detroit. If Detroit pulls their heads out of their *****, they will realize that Matthew Stafford can't become the next Harrington and draft a blind side protector, like Okung. If they choose Okung, then Tampa gets Suh. Plenty of scouts and reports have said that Suh would be dominant in the Tampa 2.

in all honesty, get T.O. draft gilyard in the 2nd get thomas in the first and focus on resigns and we will have a good offseason

Or any other receiver that's there. Then a TE in the 3rd, the rest, draft for depth
Good offseason

i dont think we need a new TE i mean we have a chase coffman who has potential he just got injured and i wouldnt mind having T.O. he wouldnt cost that much and we all know that mike brown is a cheap S.O.B.

with the amount of dropped passes the team had this pass season, TO doesnt seem like a huge improve me <_<

well if mike brown takes his shoe out of his *** then maybe we can make a move on brandon marshall or vincent jackson

We can't go too far with potential. It can really screw us over
But TO isn't even a real deep threat any more. He can't really get separation any more so the signing wouldn't really make sense. Unless it's a "Make someone on the team happy although it doesn't help the team" move

1. If Bryant is somehow around at our pick, then by all means, take him. The guy is the #1 WR prospect and we need someone who can go up and get the ball.
2. I like the idea of getting Jones. He can play both safety spots, which is what Marvin likes. He's also a big guy so he can help in stuffing the run like Roy did.
3. I liked Vlad until I watched him in Senior Bowl practice. He was struggling at both guard and tackle. He looked slow.
3. If we took a TE, I would prefer a better one. Moeaki disappeared for part of the season. I've heard that he needs to work on his blocking, and we have that in Chase.
4. If we take Jones, then I don't see the need for this pick.
5. Meh, nothing more than a battle for the #3 job or develop on the PS.
5. Brandon sharpe DE Could probably get Sharpe after the draft.
6. If we take Pettrey, then I would hope we have a vet competing with him.
7. On the rankings for NFL Draftscout, the 38th WR is the last guy that has a projection to be drafted. Stross is ranked 115th.

I agree, although a lot of us were swept up with Marvin because Mike Brown actually looked outside the organization to get a head coach. If either of the other two candidates were hired, I'm sure they would've received the key as well.
