I played it yesterday,and let me tell you they blow.It was a drastic change.Can't even audible without getting a delay of game.So it is said that the controls will be back to normal,but that isn't untill they bring it back out in September,around week 1.

I think its awesome! The OC and DC will talk to you via headset if you have one. Gives it a real feel. One thing they did that annoyed me was take away the speed burst button and made the pc auto determine when to use it. F that. I turned auto off so I could have it back. I know when to use it.

The gameplay is a lot smoother and our Rbs are nasty. One thing I like a lot that was always lacking is that the players dont quit on the ball when its hit. IE - Crocker jumped up and tipped a ball. In previous years the play would have stopped unless I took control and dived for it. This time after Crocker tipped it Hall dove and picked it off. Nasty.

Andre was a risky pick. I think we all (Lounge) agreed we wanted Monroe or Oher over him. I saw his upside in that we wanted a big mauling run blocker to fit our scheme. But I also saw his downside of being a slacker and a fatty. As usual I think we are all on the same page with those thoughts.

I was on board with Monroe and Oher because I wanted a LT. Of course, we all thought Collins could man the RT job and he didn't look good last year. I didn't want Smith with all of his red flags along with the fact that they kept saying he was going to be a RT in the league. Then there will always be the debate of where he would've actually gone.

It was about a week before the draft that some scouts came out and said that they wouldn't touch Andre till the 2nd round. Then before the draft, it was rumored that Buffalo was trying to trade up in front of us to get him. So from top 5 to 2nd round. That's a hell of range.

I think my biggest concern/frustration out of all this is his contract. He is in year 2 of a 4 year deal right now and has done very little for us. The problem is that his 2 year option has to be picked up after this season. So we risk not picking the option up and then open talks with Alvin Keels again on an extension. Or we pick up his option and potentially deal with his fiasco for another 4 years.

its fun i used game flow thru the preseason to test it out. it pretty much calls the play for you like a coordinator and tells you what your suppose to do. all you have to do is execute. (good for a fast game or to help new players learn)

and each play you can pick between the game flow or calling your own.
and the game plan is just setting the plays and the frequency of the amount of times that played is called in a particular situation. so when you know what works you can prioritize that...

over all the graphics and the football iq of the computer players is excellent (wr's try and stay in bounds)

you earn points when playing on line even when you lose that can be used on scouting reports. which will tell you your opponents tendencys in a particular situation

so far my biggest complaint is no chase coffman.
