I heard about that. I was confused at first because NFL gamecenter wasn't doing a good job of updates. They had Sanches listed as the only passer for the Jets with 7 completions, yet there were 8 or 9 catches listed for the receivers.

Hmmm, I had not looked at that but he is just up and down. In our bowl game last season he was at his best. All over UC and Pike. He blanket covered all WRs. But then he had a minor injury and it seemed that he took a step back. If he could play like he did last season I would love him.

I'd go with Brady. You know he's ticked about MNF and will be out to show that he's a great QB. Plus, Desean Jackson will most likely be out so that eliminates a couple of big plays for McNabb. Plus, two rookies in Miami's secondary.

Reggie Bush would be the only semi-validated thread because he's a good utility player, but some stupid team will want him for big bucks
I just think Vick stinks, but he's not a super bad person...but apparently I have to think he's a terrible person to not want him
Vick is a super bad person and hes returning to Altanta this weekend
but on the football feild this year he's been useless he should go to the UFL or raiders

Sounds like it'll be a one year thing, so I'm not worried. It changes FA drastically and it seems that FA will be extremely thin. So the best thing is that the uncapped year is making this one of the deepest draft classes of all time. With the potential of 10 picks, it's going to be awesome.

Exactly. I know some people are wanting us to trade up for people like Berry and Suh because we don't have many holes on this team. I would usually agree with this, but with the amount of talent coming out, I'd want to collect as many of those players as possibly, plus I don't want another big holdout. Besides, imagine the battles to get the starting spots.

We will not lose to the Lions. Unlike the Lions the Raiders actually have solid skill players across the board who can't put it together as a team. That said, we shot ourselves in the foot in that game it had nothing to do with Oakland really we lost it our damn selves on defense. We packed it in thinking we had it in the bag and can relax.
What?
I can name more solid skill players for the Lions, than the Raiders.

Tiring. Mywife came home early feeling really sick. She wound up getting sick to her stomach a couple of times. Luckily, it seemed to be a quick stomach bug because she's feeling better. However, I ran out to buy some Pepto and get a new thermometer, so to make sure that she didn't have the flu. I got dinner at Wendy's and ate it at home. Then she felt a lot better and was hungry and she kept some fries down so I ran to BK and got her a little burger. Just gotta make sure we get our rest for all the running around we need to do tomorrow.

The Packers were ripped off against the 49ers in the playoffs in 98. Jerry Rice clearly fumbled the ball and Newsome dove on it. They say he didnt fumble but you look at the replay and he clearly did. He lost the ball before the knee was down. Then they scored with 3 seconds to go.

I remember that game. Giants had a 38-14 halftime lead and I quit watching and turned it back on and it was 38-22 with the niners ready to score again. When they scored again and made it 38-30 then that game went wild. Giants in a way blew that game though when you blow a lead like that but the non PI call was BS. Niner fans always cling to that playoff game against us but that was the only time they could beat us. Their last win against us before that was in the late 80's. We haven't lost to them since that playoff game.

I thought it was cool at first, but when they took the hardcore edge away from it, I just hung my head. I've gone to Raw and Smackdown shows, and ECW was recorded with them. We went to an ECW/Smackdown show and people weren't really fired up when ECW was going. When they paired it up with Raw, they filmed it after Raw since Raw had to be broadcasted that day. They had to have a huge dark match afterwards in order to keep people around, but some still left. The only reason I would watch it is for Christian, but it's hard to take any of his storylines seriously because he defends the title against wrestlers who have never been in the World Title picture, like William Regal.

Our first winning record in five years and only the second in the past 18 years. That's reason to celebrate!
PIT loses to OAK and had fallen way behind in the division. It's a great day in Bengaldom!
A Ravens loss tomorrow to GB would be a great trifecta!

He never offers a valid point.
The only time he ever posts is when he disagrees with somebody and bashes them.
Me- "Although our defense is now part of the top 5 in the league, we haven't faced anyone like Minessota yet, it might be hard to bring them down"
OSU- "Obviously you are an extremely unintelligent ant. We've come back numerous times this year and our offense is top tier in the league. We are currently undefeated and have swept both baltimore and steelers 83 times. Palmer is the greatest QB alive and you are dumb.

He's got some issues. I don't think he sees anything wrong with this team. If we struggle next season, he won't be around. That's how he was last year. Never saw timw99, he suddenly shows up after we beat Jacksonville, but he didn't post much. Then we have our little streak and you'd think we'd won the Super Bowl. Kinda reminds me of Denny, where they look at nothing but the record.

I have to say a few bad things though
1. WHY IN THE HELL did we give the ball to Ced 36 times? He just came back from injury and by about 30 carries, he had 100. There was a reason we brought in LJ
2. Coles absolutely gave up on Carson's first int. The route he ran was terrible and his effort was worse.
3. Late in the game we got pressure, but how come it took so long? The Lions OL is horrible.
4. Dennis RLOLand
5. Our coaches are still bad...minus Zimmer. We kept trying to air it out when Carson wasn't throwing well, then after that, we did nothing but run. Why does it always have to be overwhelming on one side? Why can't we just do both evenly?

1. I was thinking the same thing. I understand wanting to work some rust of Ced and get him ready for Minnesota, but that was ridiculous. LJ and Leonard are more than capable of running the ball, there's nothing wrong giving Ced a breather. I wasn't thrilled with that decision today.
2. I was blown away because it seemed to be a bad call by Palmer and forcing the ball, then I saw the replay and watching Coles hesitate. Had he run the whole motion, he would've most likely caught the ball.
3. I was disappointed in our pass rush again, I was especially shocked that we couldn't do much against Jeff Backus. The guy gives up a lot of sacks, but we couldn't take advantage of it. Thank God MJ is 6'7'' so we can have someone knock the ball down.
4. Roland's declining play is getting worse. He did a great job earlier this year, but he's gone down drastically starting with the Oakland game. What stinks is that he seems to be standing taller and taller as the year goes on. He used to play low and keep guys off of him. I watched him on one play and he played bent over with no knee bend. Andre looked good out there, other than one negative play that I saw. Hopefully his snaps continue to increase.
5. This is exactly what my biggest issue about today was. Why can't we use the run and pass equally? I know a lot of the homers are going to use this as an example as to why we should throw it very little in the games. I was happy when we started with the pass, but it just continued like that. It was good in the middle of the game with roughly equal playcalling. Then we went run heavy in the 3rd, but that's not surprising, I would just love to see a game, like Green Bay, where the playcalling was beautiful. Thank God for Zimmer, I remember when our Chuck D would give up a TD and I would just sink because it meant that we were ******. I have no worries about our D now. I'm confident in Zimmer fixing a problem.
6. We're still struggling to play a full game. At least our media is starting to ask about the level of competition questions.
The win was nice and, if Baltimore loses, then it take one win for us to clinch the division.

It amazes me that analysts say that Leonard's leaping is a bad move and he'd barely do it in the league. Yet, he continues to do it and it remains successful. MJ was awesome out there today. That tipped INT was awesome on his part.

It'll be interersting to see what MJ does out there and how he develops. He was considered a 1st round pick and those are meant to be spent on starters. I think that he could actually become a future starter for us. Possibly keep him in his role next season, but then we'll see after that. We gotta remember that Marvin has always wanted his next Peter Boulware. We know he wanted Orakpo because of that potential, but MJ could be his guy.

I heard some boos early on when our O was struggling. I believe there were boos after one of Palmer's INTs and one after a 3 and out. I know I heard it, but I don't remember when exactly in the game, didn't really care. We had problems today, but I was glad that we won. Especially after Oakland beat Pittsburgh. If Baltimore loses tomorrow, then we need to beat Minnesota. If that happens, we clinch the division.
The funny part is that last time we won division (2005) we played the NFC North. In that time, we clinch the division in our last game against the NFC North and it was an away game. Hopefully things repeat on that day.

I'm usually defending Coles, but that INT was his fault. If he would've cut inside and not stuttered, he most likely would've had it. It was a bad move on his part.
If our pass rush can finally get back to its old way, then things very well could swing in our favor. Favre usually plays badly when he gets rattled. We just need to make sure that we get to him early.
Peko is getting surgery on his knee, but no word on whether it's a scope or more serious.

I saw Geathers get a couple of sacks today. Hopefully, this is something that is building for him.
I'm concerned about our O versus their D. They have a decent pass rush and our O line is not so hot at giving Palmer time. Typically, they hold and often get called for it rather than give up the sack. Looks like it will be a lot more of what we saw to day, but possibly fewer points.

Geathers was decent today. His 2nd sack came from Stafford being tripped by his guard and Geathers just touching him down. He was getting his upfield pressure as much as he was earlier this year.
I am starting to get worried about our OL. Whit is really getting the holding calls on himself. With him most likely facing Jared Allen, I fear that we'll be hearing a lot of call against him. Cook is doing pretty good out there. Andre looked really good in his snaps. Only one bad/rookie play from what I saw. Hopefully he continues to improve because it seems that Roland is on the decline.

It's an interesting philosophy. "Whatever you have to do, don't let them touch the QB." When somebody gets called for holding, you don't see anybody on the offense getting frustrated about it. I think it is part of an overall goal to wear down the opposing pass rushers.

The Lions just need to help Stafford out by getting an LT in the draft. The OL's bad play gets him demolished and then his confidence falls, I watched it happen against Seattle, and I watched it again today. Not to mention, his shoulder has got to be killing him now.

I think the AFC is a much better conference besides the Saints, Cardinals and Vikings but as much as I hate to say it Im scared of this game. It was mainly Tank and Sims in there for a lot of the work. Didn't use too much of a rotation with Harris. Tank hurt his back in the middle of the game, but he came back. Saw Fanene and Rucker line up there as well, didn't see too much of Geathers, can only think of one play where he was at DT.
