As far as Zampese, I think it would be an upgrade over Bratkowski and a much needed change, even if Bratkowski is still on the team, under another position. I don't ever like seeing anyone get fired, but it's a much needed change, it's time. I also think bringing in Jim Zorn would be a great replacement for Zampese at that position. Joe Flacco isn't happy at all about the Ravens firing Jim Zorn, he feels it wasn't necessary.

For those who may be interested, I thought I'd share my thoughts on Brian's thread....

First of all, Brian seems like a very good guy. I admit to being fascinated by the comments he has made. Like most here, I crave information about this team. The possibility of getting info from within an organization not know for being the most forthcoming with such data is certainly intriguing. However, as more and more became available, there was something that just struck me as odd about the situation. Logically, there are pretty much 3 possible scenarios:

1) BP is posing as an insider, taking advantage of the rightfully frustrated fan base by coming to the largest gathering of Bengals fans on the internet to try to drive more visitors to his web site.

2) BP does have legitimate contacts inside the organization, but does not have the blessing of those that matter most to disseminate such information, particularly on the franchise's own web presence.

3) BP does have legitimate contacts inside the information and does have the blessing of those that matter most to share such info as he sees fit.

The first two of those present a great concern for us. We have a number of members who have links in their sigs or some of their posts directing to some kind of fan-based Bengals web site, so that alone isn't an issue. The extent to which this had gone would be too far IF this were truly the case.

IF the second scenario were true, then it's a tremendous risk posting all this on the Bengals' own official message board. Maybe a calculated risk. BP seems smart enough to know it would get noticed at some point in time and the ramifications that could result from it.

IF the third scenario were proven to be true, then I would expect the thread to be opened.

I'm not making any allegations regarding any of those scenarios. It's a fascinating situation, but I'm not going to pretend that I know one way or the other. I can say that I've already received a PM from a member under the assumption that BP's inside info on this site was approved/endorsed by management, specifically Katie Blackburn. I also know that we have been criticized for deleting his posts when it was BP himself who deleted them.

The timing of what happened could have to do with the Bratkowski information - which the moderators had no knowledge of before Chris Mortensen broke the news today - or could just have been because the front office was back to work on this Monday morning. A conspiracy theory could be presented insisting that the information that Brat was being retained was given out purely for the intent to determine a leak within the organization. Of course, a conspiracy could be presented that states that the blog being shut down and posts being deleted could be an ingenious attempt to convince others of his credibility at the first sign of trouble on the team's official message board.

This is merely my perspective on this matter and not really any insight on what has transpired today. I've stated publicly that I am envious with the Broncos newest attempt to reach out to the fans with their transparency, specifically during the search for their new head coach. Legitimate or not, I wish we didn't need to be concerned with all this clack and dagger stuff.

I remember how on multiple plays where Gresh was sent more than 10 yards down field, the ball would either be caught or was Carson'd. Either way, Gresh is supa awesome

I like it when the Pats run deep routes with the WR then have the TEs flank under for around 15. It forces the Safety to decide on going with the WR or coming up on the TE. If he goes with the WR then bam! Easy first down and more. Gresham can be dangerous in space so if we get it to him in the open he can make a big play.
