Ray Rice. RB from Rutgers. Now, I know we need defence, but this guy seems like he could be a perfecy playmaker in our D.

From what I see, he is pretty fast, along with strong enough to occasionally break a tackle. He is tough and isn't afraid to go up the middle and isn't selfish, a nice plus.

Unfortunately, he is only 5-9. I see him as a kind of Maurice Jones-Drew. The biggest problem is he is a Junior...so he might not go to the draft. In addition, he is a Heisman Candidate, pretty well known...and projected to be a 1-2 round and may be gone before we take him or be too high for us to reasonably take him.

New to this, so feel free to berate for stupidity.

I think he will stay another year if he is a junior. He is not having as good of a year as he did last year. I do not see him being a Heisman Candidate he has kind of lost out on that. My only thing against him is he is not as consistant as i would like. He has some really huge games and can not be stopped and then he has other games when he seems kind of sluggish.

I think we should see how current injured running backs do in spring camp...Kenny Irons, and Chris Perry end of this season before we look to draft another running back. I feel there is too much need on defense to draft a running back....maybe 7th rounder if anything, and i doubt Ray Rice would fall to the 7th round.
