I initially thought the addition of the comments section on the Hobson stories was a good idea. Now it has turned into another Smack talk or just a rude name calling sounding board. If there are 100 comments maybe only 25 have anything to do with the subject.
Can you require a real sign-in by message board members who would then be responsible for what they post ?

I quit reading the comments....its ridiculous. I choose to enjoy my Bengal-speak here on the message boards where a lot of us are familiar with each other and where, when we disagree, we agree to disagree. For the most part.....

Both of you are correct - it has gotten out of hand and the garbage on there is ridiculous. We were close to shutting it down, but we thought we might try one more thing, which is more a message board-type administration, so we'll see how that goes (it will be ready in another week or so).

I have noticed this also .

Alot of the negativity is coming from opposing fans. *ahem* I wont call anyone out. ;)

But some of it is coming from bitter Bengals fans too.

Some of the comments are just taking it too far.

I figure something will be done about this soon as anyone can read them or post.

It is a way for those who dont want to or afraid to sign up here to talk junk to Bengals fans.
And I am sure there are a few who have been banned on there jawin' .

I hope something is done about it because I do occasionally try to read outsiders (non MB members) opinions , etc. But that has became impossible now with it being filled with so much garbage.
You ought to have to sign in and be responsible for the crap you post.

Couldn't agree more with the point of this thread. I generally avoided them anyways because I prefer to make my statements in here anyways, but I did check them out this weekend and it was less that pleasant to say the least.
