1. Calais Campbell*, Miami
Height: 6-8. Weight: 282.
40 Time: 4.77.
Projected Round: Top 5 Pick.
Some of his measurables compare to Julius Peppers'. Recorded 11 sacks in 2006. He's only a rising junior, meaning he's got room to grow. That's scary because I just don't see how NFL teams, particularly ones with lesser offensive tackles, are going to contain him.

2. Derrick Harvey*, Florida
Height: 6-4. Weight: 245.
40 Time: 4.67.
Projected Round: Top 15 Pick.
Suited for the 3-4. Harvey, a monstrous pass rusher, sacked Troy Smith twice in the BCS Championship. Collected 11 sacks in 2006. Considered by some as a better pro prospect than Jarvis Moss, who was drafted No. 17.

3. Tyson Jackson*, LSU
Height: 6-5. Weight: 292.
40 Time: 4.76.
Projected Round: Top 20 Pick.
Pretty much the same build as Adam Carriker, only with a much faster 40 time. Will play up front in the 4-3 or 3-4. Notched 8.5 sacks in 2006.

4. Quentin Groves, Auburn
Height: 6-4. Weight: 254.
40 Time: 4.63.
Projected Round: 1.
A 3-4 rusher, but can also play the 4-3. Size and speed very similar to Derrick Harvey's. Notched 9.5 sacks in 2006.

5. Chris Long, Virginia
Height: 6-4. Weight: 284.
40 Time: 4.78.
Projected Round: 1-2.
Chris Long, who can play end in the 4-3 and possibly nose guard in the 3-4, had 57 tackles and five sacks in 2006. Son of former NFL star and current FOX analyst Howie Long.

6. Lawrence Jackson, USC
Height: 6-5. Weight: 265.
40 Time: 4.83.
Projected Round: 1-2.
A traditional defensive end, Lawrence Jackson had just four sacks in 2006, a drop from 10 in 2005. His stock has slipped a bit in the wake of a disappointing season, although that was a result of a different scheme USC utilized on defense.

7. Chris Ellis, Virginia Tech
Height: 6-5. Weight: 258.
40 Time: 4.67.
Projected Round: 2.
You have to like the speed that comes with his size. Can play both the 4-3 and 3-4. Had six sacks in 2005 but saw that total drop to 4.5 in 2006.

8. Vernon Gholston*, Ohio State
Height: 6-4. Weight: 260.
40 Time: 4.78.
Projected Round: 2.
Vernon Gholston essentially came out of nowhere to record 8.5 sacks in 2006. How will he fare now that offensive coordinators will be focusing on him? Remember, Quinn Pitcock, David Patterson and Jay Richardson all left for the NFL.

9. Titus Brown, Mississippi State (8/30)
Height: 6-3. Weight: 250.
40 Time: 4.68.
Projected Round: 2.
Honestly, I never had a great chance to check out Titus Brown. What I saw in the LSU-Mississippi State game really impressed me. Brown dominated a very strong LSU line and was often unstoppable. Also showed great character when he went over to struggling quarterback Mike Henig and offered words of encouragement.

The production is there - Brown had 7.5 sacks in 2006 after a 1.5-sack campaign in 2005. Started all but one game last year.

10.Chris Harrington, Texas A&M
Height: 6-5. Weight: 267.
40 Time: 4.78.
Projected Round: 2-3.
Has the size and speed to play both the 4-3 and 3-4. Notched 7.5 sacks in 2006.

11. Kenny Iwebema, Iowa
Height: 6-4. Weight: 270.
40 Time: 4.76.
Projected Round: 3.
A traditional end, Iwebema never had a chance to follow up his 7-sack 2005 campaign because he was always in and out of the lineup with an injured shoulder.

12.Jameel McClain, Syracuse (9/23)
Height: 6-1. Weight: 256.
40 Time: 4.74.
Projected Round: 3.
It seemed like Jameel McClain was in Louisville's backfield on every single play during Syracuse's inexplicable upset. He picked off Brian Brohm in the third quarter.

A 3-4 prospect who can get to the quarterback; McClain recorded 9.5 sacks in 2006. Can also play inside linebacker.

13. Tommy Blake, TCU (8/20)
Height: 6-3. Weight: 252.
40 Time: 4.73.
Projected Round: 3.
Tommy Blake has missed a number of games this year with an undisclosed illness.

Where is Tommy Blake? The former Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year has missed four straight practices because he went home, more than 300 miles away from campus. Rumors are Blake is struggling with high expectations. Will he ever return to the team? That remains to be seen.

A candidate for either the 4-3 or 3-4, Blake has registered seven sacks in each of the previous two seasons. TCU has a chance of going undefeated this year, which could raise his stock even more.

14. Greyson Gunheim, Washington
Height: 6-5. Weight: 265.
40 Time: 4.64.
Projected Round: 3-4.
What a cool name for a potential NFL defensive end. Should be able to play the 3-4 or 4-3. Notched six sacks in 2006.

15. Wallace Gilberry, Alabama
Height: 6-4. Weight: 264.
40 Time: 4.85.
Projected Round: 4.
A solid player suited for the 4-3, Wallace Gilberry collected only 3.5 sacks in 2006. That total needs to at least double to warrant first-day consideration.

Hope you all like, had a hard time finding info on some, so profiles not the best but gives some info!

Normally, I'd vouch for some tech boys, but i've heard things about Ellis having character issues. Considering our history, i'd avoid him.

of course i could be wrong, but im pretty sure.

ok, found something, only could get a bit of article but..looks like he was suspended for obstructing an officer....

Sep. 26--BLACKSBURG -- Virginia Tech's Chris Ellis, a Bethel High graduate, and Josh Morgan were arrested Sunday morning after an incident in Blacksburg where police used pepper spray to subdue Morgan and Ellis was accused of inciting a crowd. Tech coach Frank Beamer suspended both starting players for one game for a violation of team policy, so the two will not be available Saturday when No. 11 Tech hosts No. 24 Georgia Tech.

Ellis was charged with obstructing an officer, and Morgan was charged with disorderly...

Thats all i could get of the article...sorry

There is a DE from Michigan State that is leading the country in Forced Fumbles this year. His name is...Jonal Saint-Dic. He has 8 FF and 9 sacks already this season.

I haven't heard much about him either, outside of Michigan State games. Hopefully we could get him late.
